This was our first restaurant for dinner after we left Rome :) Very distinctly different flavors from Roma. We tried a grilled Seabass and a Shrimp dish. Very well cooked, authentic flavors. We relished the uniqueness of the Neapolitan Pizza. My experience with the Fried Pizza was not so good. Its Quite Oily as its Pizza covered in dough and... More

A great place to sit and eat and watch the spectacle of the Neapolitan 'passeggiata' along the sea-front as the sun sets and the lights on the Castel dell'Ovo come on. It might have been December but the road between the restaurant and the sea was a colourful promenade of families and children and lovers and line-skaters and cyclists, with... More

The restaurant has a prime location at Lungomare. The waiter was pretty friendly. Appetizers were better than average and the pizze definitely met the neapolitan standards.

It was raining on our first night in Naples when we went to I Re di Napoli for dinner. We were walking to another, nearby restaurant, but I Re di Napoli was closer to our hotel, looked inviting, and had a pretty young lady out front enticing customers to enter. So we entered. All of the restaurants in the area... More

Came here friday night around 20:45 and we were seated right away at the second row from the tables outside having the perfect view of the castel dell'ovo. We were given 2 complementary glass of champagne as we waited. Ordered for starter "cuoppo del Re" consisted of crocchè, arancini, zeppoline, fried zucchini, and another fried ball i can't regognize, was... More

Just came back from dinner with my wife. The service was good and the food was decent, but when the bill arrived it seems the prices of our dishes had been conjured from thin air. My wife had ordered a fish course and I wanted a simple pasta and asked the waiter to recommend a local speciality. He offered a... More

Who ever thought a gluten free pizza could taste so good. But really, it does. I tasted the regular pizza and it was equally delicious. We had the pizza diavolo, the salcito with broccolini and a pizza pomodoro with buffalo mozarella. One was more delicious than the next. The caprese salad that we started with was slightly bland and dissapointing... More
