We preferred Trianon over Da Michele

I don't want to get into a fight with pizza snobs. I am not a pizza purist, which is perhaps why I preferred Trianon over its cross street rival Da Michele. Why? 1. The pizza. Yeah it's great to be traditional only offering margherita and marinara pizza as da Michele does. But given that... read more

As with other reviewers, we also tried to go to Da Michele but the queues discouraged us. Tried this pizzeria (having heard about it beforehand) and really like the food. In three days in Naples we had dinner here twice.

What is there to say! Amazing pizza. Call me out for not being a Michele purist, but I like the fact there is a range of margheritas to be had, amongst other toppings. Cannot believe that Trianon doesn't rate higher in places to eat in Naples! Definitely worth the visit.

Great marinara and margherita pizza! This place was packed with Italians, upstairs has tons of room, we didn't see that until we went upstairs to use the bathroom. Service was fast and friendly.

Dont fall for those tourist traps by going to those famous pizza places. Chow down on great pizza and live the good napolitan life. Sorry, guys. This pizza supresses its neighbour pizza :-)

My best experience in Italy: few recipes but authentic and reaching perfection. The Carolina di bourbon pizza is astonishing : litteraly covered with top quality mozzarella, fresh and tasty cherry tomatoes, bread perfectly cooked. Not to mention incredibly low price (7-9 € per giant pizza)

The restaurant is quite large and the staff are polite and friendly. The Margherita was really delicious and the ingredients were very fresh. I actually prefer this place to other more popular pizzerias of Napoli

Good pizza, good price, authentic, good service and large choice. We totally recommend it if you want to have a simple diner away from the tourists flow.

We stopped by this place since da Michele was inexplicably closed. We walked around the corner and down the street a bit to find this place. We walked in were shown up to the 2nd level & once there we were sent up to the third level. What pizza place has 3 levels ? This one. Very good AC and... More

We did some research before we came, this pizzeria had the most authentic pizza that we found on our entire trip. Service was excellent. Pizza cooked just steps away. Pizza ovens on each of the two floors. Two chefs making them as fast as possible, another cooking. Worth the walk to get here from any part of Naples
