Hotel has a nice terrace with the perfect view of sorrento. Breakfast with a pretty nice selection. I especially like the thin crispy bacon with eggs. Room service available too for dinner. Got a quick booking to Capri at the counter. Recept was friendly. Only thing is.. It's a little bit off the centre of sorrento and a pretty long... More

Sunset looking over the bay of naples,sorrento....and fantastic wine and food...what else can you say? We loved it! Had carpacchio from different fish ,very tasy and seafood pasta which comes on massive plates and tasted great! Ps, the wine list is very extensive...hard to make a choice! Went for the primitivo di manduria 60 anni from puglia which was delish!!!

I have mixed feelings about our stay at LA Tonnarella. I would give it a 10+ breathtaking stars for location, beautiful private beach with lift, sheer wonderful real Italian ambiance, and those amazing views!!!!! This hotel/villa gives you what u seek of a true, wonderful Italian holiday. The rooms and bathrooms are large, floors are beautiful Italian tile from the... More

We had 2 nice dinners here with my husband. The portions are crazy big, we could not finish them, but the cook is very good. The beetroot risotto was a dream (the portion rather for a whole family), the fish was fresh and good, the steak enormous big (I suppose some would find this just fine but I have never... More

Tried to go for dinner. No booking. No other diners in restaurant. Told very rudely that no service until 1930hrs. No offer of having a drink until opening time. Made to feel as if our custom was not needed or welcomed. Would not recommend and would certainly not step anywhere near there again.

Excellent food in a charming setting. Try the house white wine that they make themselves - it really is very good. Staff are friendly and work very hard at looking after you!

Worst food in Italy accompanied by indifferent and non existent service. Avoid! Veal Sorrento was all fat and bones, worst cut not fit for human consumption.

It was a lovely experience dining outside on the terrace on a warm summer night with Mount Vesuvius and Naples across the bay. The food, service and atmosphere created a delightful memory. One con: when we arrived we requested a front table, along the terrace edge, we were told that the empty table was reserved; which of course was not... More

This hotel was 5 mins from our hotel and we went there twice. The terrace outside is lovely, great view and really lovely food. There is also a lower terrace (which we preferred) - slightly better ambience. We booked both nights. For view, seating and food we would definitely recommend it. Looking forward to returning

Our group went twice, consisted of grandparents, nieces and young adults. All enjoyed their selection and shared other platters. The second nite, the balcony was open, and the sky and sea were magical, the waitstaff charming. Short walk to Settimo Cielo a blessing since Jay was on crutches. Three people had the steak both times; I agreed with their choice... More
