Glad we wandered the back streets

Food was wonderful. We didn't order off the menu but had the recommended dishes for the night the owner offered us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall one of the most welcoming restaurants we visited on our trip with very enjoyable food.

What can I say, super hosts, super staff, super food!!... to eat in the oldest garden in Sorrento is a must, dating back to 8BC!! The owner Mario is very helpful and funny, and makes all the customers very welcome. This is an unique dining experience in Sorrento and should be on the list of things to do!

Tucked away in a little side street off the Corsa Italia, you will find this gem of a place. The surroundings in the garden were a delight and the atmosphere good. We visited on a Monday night, where, I'm glad to say, a lovely guitarist / singer named Francesco was entertaining the customers. He is there on Mondays, Wednesdays and... More

We were looking for something other than a pizzeria. This was perfect. Set in the garden of Marios restraint we sat in and alcove near the ancient roman Aqua duct. The live music made the atmosphere even better. I too had the zucchini flower stuffed with ricotta and lemon it was great. The lemon ricotta shrimp pasta was just amazing... More

I started a 2 week Eurotrip in Sorrento with four friends and this place still stands out as one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we had. The biggest highlights for me were the environment and the staff. We sat in a small lit cave surrounded by a beautiful old Italian garden. The setting was picturesque and I could not... More

Having been in Sorrento 4 nights and getting quite tired of the same food we ventured out looking for a light meal and ended up coming across this restaurant with no expectations at all...how glad we are that we did! An amazing lemon garden setting (you wouldn't know from the outside). The atmosphere was brilliant, the owner great value and... More

This restaurant is phenomenal solely for its atmosphere. The tables all surround lemon trees and there are also tables in the stone alcoves for more privacy. I came with my daughter and we were presented with complimentary prosecco and samples of fried ravioli as we were seated. The owner comes around and greets everyone and continues to check on you... We travelled down for the evening and this was the best food we had. We had the specials - zucchini flower with lemon, pasta with puccini mushrooms. It's in a hidden secret garden, you go through a side street and it's a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Well worth a visit.
