Pleasant surprise.

While waiting for our ferry we wanted something to eat but with bags and everything we didn't want to wonder around so we settled for this place thinking that was a tourist trap, but... It wasn't! The fish soup was amazingly tasty and impossible big to be finished and my grilled octopus to die for... read more

It was kinda pricey. The food was great and the waiters are friendly. The pizza de vesuvio was nice and the mussels too pretty good. The view is excellent your right in the marina.

We ate here one time as we were staying at a B&B close by so it was an easy walk. Our waitress was very attentive and the price was reasonable but we found the food to be only average. The location is wonderful as you get a view of the harbour and Marinas.

Our private driver took us to this restaurant on the waterfront. First we thought it was one of those "tourist trap restaurant' BUT it was not with excellent food and service. Highly recommend their hand made pasta dish(especially their seafood) and their pizza!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

My partner and I had the shrimp cocktail, spaghetti vongole, grilled king prawns, sautéed shellfish - all was absolutely delicious, fresh from the day's catch but best of all, it was the best value amongst all the other restaurants by the harbour in Sorrento. When I say best value it's because I do diligently shop around looking at prices. Staff... More

Good food, at a stone's throw from the port. Loved their baby fish on the citrus leaf antipasti. It has an indoor sitting area too for the evenings I guess.

Called in here twice after a trip on ferries, first time for a meal & second time for a drink. The food & service was very good but the second time, we called in just for a drink, I made the mistake of assuming everybody was of the same opinion when asking for a latte. I was bemused with what... More

La Kambusa means "galley" as in ship's galley. This restaurant is far superior to any ship's galley that i have experienced ! The location right on the port of a popular tourist destination means that during the day/lunchtime the restaurant is very busy. I recommend you try having dinner at La Kambusa when the crowds are up the top of... More

Excellent Italian food and local wine with a heavy emphasis on sea food. Much used by locals who tend to arrive late - after 9:00 pm. The value was outstanding, the best I have experienced in Italy. Spent three lovely evenings there, the last was the best as I mentioned it was my husband's birthday and they made it extra... More
