We walked around Sorrento extensively looking for a restaurant that we thought would meet our hopes and found this cute place with menu items we like. It has a small, cozy interior with a few tables outside, which we wanted. The very friendly owner/manager went overboard to get us the table we wanted. Bruschetta and steamed mussels were OK, but... Visited this restaurant as it was highly recommended in the Lonely Planet guide. The service was very poor, we were served by a very surly young waitress. The owner/manager was there but didn't seem to interested. Where we sat you could see the kitchen staff working extremely hard and I always like a restaurant that is happy for diners to... More

My husband and I ate here on the recommendation of our son and daughter-in-law and are we glad we did! We were happily transported back more than 30 years to family meals at my husband's home. And imagine our surprise when we told this to the owner and learned that he came from the same small town that my husband's... More

We had wandered that back/side streets of Sorrento numerous times scouting out restaurants and on our last afternoon there, we came across this restaurant and were very glad we did. It is very small - maybe 6 tables inside and 3 outside near the front door. It is definitely a family run place and we very much enjoyed our meal... More

Where can I start? The welcoming, the team, the location, the food, the charm....it's overwhelming. It's one of those small cosy places that you would want to call home, and go back to it as often as possible. Sadly for us, we don't live in Sorrento. However, with my wife, we managed to go back again a second time during... More

We arrived early, the first diners of the evening as we have two young kids. Didn't know what the expect from this small restaurant but we were very pleasantly surprised. Attentive service, varied menu and stunning food. We had eaten a few restaurants in Sorrento but this place won the prize for best food. The shrimp were fantastic and the... More

Its rammed into a little sidestreet with a few tables inside and a few packed into a little alleyway. It does look a little 'basic', but don't be put off by this. By the time we eat here we had eaten in quite a few of Sorrento's restaurants so had some good experiences to judge it by. The food was... More

I use Trip a lot and generally it's spot on, however with Sorrento things really went askew. When we travelled in June the top 2 rated restaurants were a kebab shop and an ice cream parlour. Admittedly I didn't get to go there and I have been known to have the odd ice cream or kebab (admittedly not before 2am)... More

A small restaurant serving simple but delicious food. A great host and waitress. Try the fried chillies and anchovies!

My husband and I enjoyed a great lunch here. Amongst all the tourist trap restaurants I would definitely recommend this place to experience more authentic home style Italian cooking. We ordered the caprese salad and pasta with meatballs, with both dishes being fresh and full of flavour. Definitely worth a visit!
