My partners favourite restaurant. The spaghetti vongole is great. The owner and waitress are great people.

Our son, a chef, had dined at Ristorante O' Murzill 4 months before us and recommended that we go here for top quality seafood. We arrived early after a long day of sightseeing and wanted somewhere quiet back from the main street. We chose dining outside where tables were set up against the wall of the restaurant on a quiet... More

We enjoyed dining outside where tables were set up against the wall of the restaurant on a quiet street. There is a small indoor eating area as well. I found it a bit annoying to have the host trying to flag down potential patrons right near where I was sitting. This is a common practice in Sorrento but can be... More

I have to disagree with the general view of this. We went on a Thursday evening in October and the welcome was non-existent, the food and wine indifferent and the atmosphere in a deserted room frosty. Our girls could not eat their pasta as it was Al dente to the point of uncooked, and even the seven year old commented... More

Sorrento is surely a tourist town. Most of the restaurants cater to the varied palate and we found it difficult to find true local fare. By luck, we stumbled into Ristorante O' Murzill near the end of our trip and it did not disappoint. The ristorante is located down a small side-street out of the bustle of the main Sorrento... More

While the name sounds like an Irish Turk this place is real Italian - a lovely homely restaurant with a warm welcome, friendly service and excellent food at good value prices. Pasta first courses were very good and extremely tasty, grilled squid and whole grilled white fish secondi were cooked to perfection. Limited wine choice but not overpriced - the... More

I have just returned from a week in Sorrento and it was the only place I ate at twice. It's only small, so a much more homely feel and timely but unhurried service than other places in the old town. Good location, just off one of the main tourist streets, but with some passing pedestrians and only an occasional scooter... More

We had two meals in Sorrento at the tail end of our travels in Italia and had almost given up on finding decent local fare when we stumbled across this little gem hidden in a small alley. The food is plentiful and authentic and we returned for a second night. The seafood risotto was fabulous but the antipasti starter, consisting... More

if you get the chance you must give this restaurant a try, we ate here four times last week, and the food was exceptional. Their pasta seafood is truly superb. Staff were very pleasant and very helpful in explaining how the food was prepared.

This tiny restaurant is friendly and authentic . The food is very good and it is like eating in someone's front room! Good own wine and friendly service
