Delicious food and wine, friendly staff

My husband and I came here on a Sunday evening in February and were the only customers, which is not unusual being a quiet night of the week and off season- I'm sure it is packed out during the summer. We were referred here by our hotel and were not disappointed. Great service, excellent food, refreshing limoncello. We both had pasta which was fresh, hot and very flavourful! Would definitely eat here again if we return to Sorrento.

This restaurant looks very good and the menu is fine, but when we ate there this was not the case. Food arrived cool and vegetables ordered never arrived although charged for (to be fair we missed this and so didn't complain), but side order of potatoes were cold and swimming in oil. Dessert requested off the menu was not available... More

We first visited Re Foods in May 2013, eating there twice in a week as we enjoyed it so much the first time. We then returned again in May 2014, and again ate there twice during our week’s holiday. In 2014 the restaurant had been extended, but the food and service were still as excellent as the previous year. We... More

We very much enjoyed our last lunch in Sorrento. It is open in the off season. We were the only table there - until another twosome arrived just as we were leaving. Our meals were great. Super limoncello and chocolate dessert.

As a group of 5 visiting Sorrento in mid-January we initially held out little hope of finding anywhere decent open for dinner. However we stumbled upon the strangely named Re Food restaurant in a side street and were welcomed with complimentary prosecco (you pay through the rest of the bill of course!) at a table in a large attractive dining... We came to this restaurant twice. The pizza and pasta were fine. The grilled fish plate was really excellent. Service was ordinary and our waitier looked as if he hadn't washed his shirt or tie in weeks. Ok value and atmosphere good.

This restaurant was a huge disappointment. We visited as it was across the street from our rental - and because of the many good reviews here on TA. However, the food never got above average. First, make sure you pass on the mozzarella here, as there are too many good options in this part of Italy. The mozz I was... More

We chose this place based on the majority of very favorable reviews on TripAdvisor. I'm at a loss to explain those. Yes the waiters are pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is nice and colorful. The prices are reasonable for a reasonably "fancy" dining experience (16 euro for most courses--starters, pasta, mains). The portions were large. BUT... The food was uninspired.... More
