Great choice of flavours of icecream. Open in the evening - pick up a cone to enjoy whilst walking the streets with locals.

I went here to participate in a gelato making class and it was really good! The lady, who was leading the class was very friendly and the gelato was delicious. We were able to have 2 flavours of gelato at the end of the class for free and it was to die for. It was probably the best gelato in... More

The Bougainvilla is a nice modern ice-cream place on the main shopping street in Sorrento. The selection and quality of the gelato are excellent. There are clean rest rooms, always a plus for travellers. it is definitely worth a stop when visiting the area.

One of the highlights of our November trip to Sorrento was the wonderful course taught by Teresa on how to make gelato. our kids (11 and 9) had great fun making - and tasting- Lemon and hazelnut flavours. And on the way out we had the baba ( limoncello) and Canollo made in the shop (also sublime)..We will be back... More

This place seriously has the best ice cream we tasted in the whole of Sorrento, went there a few times just for ice cream!!! So many flavours to choose from but the lemon sorbet and the pistachio were amazing.

A great pizza school ! We spent a morning being taught how to make the perfect pizza . The experience was great fun and we ate the pizza that we cooked . The photographs were a brilliant souvenir . This was quite a change from the usual sightseeing in Sorrento and I would recommend it to anyone cook or not... More

We had a great couple of hours learning how to make pizza and learnt a few tricks of the trade that'll come in handy at home. You get to eat what you make too. Would recommend this as a way to spend a fun couple of hours. Have a go.

Went for dinner with my wife and I can honestly say it has been the best meal experience of my Italian holiday so far. The food was amazing as was the service. Check out the dessert menu... It is something else. Thanks for a great night everyone at the Bougainvillea

This restaurant calls itself a gelateria, bar and pizzeria but it is more than that. While their gelato is excellent, don't miss their pasta. Toward the back of the restaurant, just beyond the bar is a light and airy sunroom with tables. We ordered spinach and ricotta cannelloni and the tomato sauce was one of the best I've had in... After a week of indulging in rich pastas and pizzas on holiday my husband and I were in need of a great, fresh salad to pick us up from the carb hangover. We were tempted into Bougainvillea and were not disappointed. We both choose salads from the lunch menu and they came beautifully presented with delicious, fresh ingredients throughout. It... More
