We had dinned there three times. Always perfect. Meet, fish, pizza. Service and climate very good. Very good value for the money. Easy to park a car.

We spent 2 nights with great experience in two best restaurants in Sorrento. Verdemere is the one. The food was so good and tasty. After we had dinner in one evening, the next day we decided to have lunch before we left Sorrento. The service was quite friendly with Italian hospitality. All main discs were excellent. One has to try... More

We ended up in Verdemare twice in a 10 night stay in Sorrento, as this was very close to our hotel (Grand Hotel Vesuvio, cut through the car park opposite the hotel to avoid the blind corner without a footpath!), and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone staying nearby. The service was welcoming and attentive, though not too pushy,... More

We were staying at Hotel Metropole next door and decided to have a change from hotel food. The restaurant was quite busy with both visitors and locals and the there was a friendly atmosphere. The food is plentiful, tasty and not fussy but beware of the pizzas, they are huge! We had a bottle of the local wine, Lachryma Christi,... More

A bit out of the main part of Sorrento and the view from the patio is a road junction. They could spend time on an antiquated shared washroom. That said, the carbonara was perfect and 7.5 euros. Terrific value The mixed grilled fish platter was just above average but the whole cooked fish on the platter was fantastic People on... More

My husband and I arrived in Sorrento after travelling a long way from Canada. Tired and unsure of where to eat the hotel recommended this place which was within a short walking distance. We had a wonderful, casual and inexpensive meal out on a terrace. Ordered pizza, pasta and local Sorrento wine...and was more than satisfied.

My family and I have been coming to Sorrento for 16 consecutive years and stayed in the Grand Hotel Vesuvio just up the road. Since it was so near, we gave it a go and absolutely loved it! We still go for almost every lunch we are there, and nothing has changed. Very friendly staff who always greet us when... More

This is a nice local restaurant on the main road heading up on the cliffs above Sorrento to the West - easy walk if you are staying in one of the hotels up on the cliffs. Place is full of locals as well as visitors and looks to do a roaring trade in take away pizzas as well. We ate... More

Nice "home" cafe, good food, but be aware of cover charge and overbooking during the public holidays despite the place is a bit far from the center
