I have been here in October , food was amazing the pizza as well thin and crispy,is a family restaurant very clean and comfortable . I tried pasta with seafood, just delicious and then grilled fresh fish and obviously pizza ( Maybe the best i have never eaten) ! The service is good and price are ok. The waiters are... More

We stumbled into Kalimera by accident and it was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. We stopped to use the phone to call a cab and eat a snack. The pizza was the most flavorful piece of pizza I have ever tasted. It didn't make sense how good it tasted. I can not describe how well... More

We were very luck to have our hotel recommend this restaurant. We had a long day after arriving in Rome then driving to Sorrento. They actually came to pick us up at our hotel and dropped us back after dinner. This family run restaurant/pizzaria was just right for us. The family were great, made us feel at home. We first ate at Kalimera due to the proximity to our hotel and the fact that it is family owned. The restaurant was lovely and the terrace was even more so. We ate outside where it was very quaint and beautiful, the atmosphere really added to the experience. We were served by a lovely lady called Luisa who made us... More

Went to Kalimera after reading the positive reviews on the TA. I wasn't expecting it to be literally on a busy road. If you choose to eat on a so-called terrace as we did, there would only be a wall separating it from your table. Very noisy therefore. Be warned ! Run by a family, we were served by a... More

We visited this restaurant on a whim and were so pleased with it that we came back. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and hearty - I particularly recommend the mussels! The prices were also very reasonable - 1x entree, 2x mains, 1x dessert, non-alcoholic drinks = approx €30. I'd definitely go back.

I do not even know where to begin. My husband and I stayed at a hotel less than a kilometer from this restaurant and one night we were exhausted and wanted to take pizza back to our room and just relax. We were too exhausted to have any expectations yet found ourselves unexpectedly energized by the amazing pizza!! We loved... More

We went to Restorante Kalimera expecting simple but good Italian home cooking, but the food was rather mediocre. The place is full of tourists from the nearby camping and hotels, so didn't feel much local feel there I think it's not worth looking for, but ok if you accidently get there. Go to Sorrento and somewhere nice, there are plenty... More

A group of three of us stayed at the campsite in sorrento and were disappointed by the canteen there so we ventured up the hill for dinner and found Kalimera. It may be small but it is gave us the best dining experience we found in the whole of Italy during our trip. Louisa is a great waitress and have... More
