We kept seeing this restaurant on our way into town and kept meaning to try it. We finally did and are really glad. Very good friendly service. Really good home cooked food at an excellent price! We had the brushetta and the chef special bread for starters. We didn't really need to as one would have been enough but we... More

We had lunch at this place. We really enjoyed the food and the friendly service. The views are decent too.

If you are in Sorrento please do not miss out on this restaurant/bar at the end of the street just before you leave the town to go up into the hills. The food here is fresh, tasty, great prices and the cocktails are amazing. There is a great choice, with something for everyone. Family run establishment, very friendly and welcoming.... More

We ate here twice and had a variety of food both times all of which we found very good including a lovely plate of meat and cheese, fish of the day, calamari, pasta with mussels and seafood a capanota salad all of which was really nice with friendly helpful service and good value. I think it probably has changed hands... More

They must have changed owners recently. The food was very oily and seriously not good, but the worse was that I got food poisoning from my dinner over there. Will def not recommend this place...

First, thank you to the owners for being open on a holiday when almost all the other restaurants and around were closed! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent too. We thought we would just get a light bar snack, and were suprised by the choice and quality of the food. I had an excellent sausage... More

Our favourite bar/restaurant in Sorrento. The owners were always friendly, cheery and welcoming. Terrific value and tasty food and a good choice of drinks (e.g. Peroni Grand Riserve on draught). Although we aim to try as many different eateries as possible, we ended up coming here four or five times because it was just such a delight. A real little... More

We stopped in this casual restaurant and pub while on a walk through the city and ended up going there about five times during our one-week stay in Sorrento. The atmosphere was what drew us in as the owner and his son were outstanding at encouraging us to enjoy the time there. The food was unexpectedly good and the drinks... More

Visiting Sorrento in early October, 2013 and staying up the hill at the Hotel Belair, we found Taverna Sorrentina immediately on walking down to the main level of Sorrento. Not fancy, but delivers good, friendly service in a somewhat small establishment. Think the kitchen is small, so the menu is not extensive. Yet, everything we had was prepared well and... More

We loved this place so much, we returned several times during our stay in Sorrento, whether it was for coffee, a drink, a snack or a main meal. Very relaxed and informal, you could sit and enjoy the sea view, chat away, read, or just relax. Food was very tasty and freshly prepared. Best bruschetta I've had in a long... More
