We walked passed this place a couple of times before stopping to eat there. Its on the main route to what they call a beach in Sorrento so there was a lot of foot traffic passing by but worse was the scooters which occasionally passed by and the smell of 2 stroke fumes. The staff were smiley and friendly unlike... More

I was wondering around late afternoon and came across another wedding party, (there are dozens every week in the summer) stopping to watch, like you do, a very nice waiter beckoned me to look at the menu and I'm glad I did. I sat under an umbrella, at the tables on the sidewalk ordered prosecco, and perused the menu, there... More

We went here with a group of 13. The service was fantastic. They engaged in conversation with everybody in the group including the 3 children. The food came quickly and was very good. The experience was so good we returned the next morning before our wedding renewal for drinks. We asked the kids where they wanted to go for the... More

Made a mistake the day before eating at the Marina Grande in a quiet restuarant, so decided on our last day to eat in a busy one. Glad we did, we both had pasta dishes and they were spot on, and well priced, the staff were really friendly, and weren't pushing you to come in and eat. Would definitely recommend.

We were initially put off this place as the staff were constantly trying to get you to come in to the restaurant as you walked past but we thought eventually we would try it. We had a lovely table by the wall, away from the road which makes for a nicer atmosphere. We didn't want a huge meal so we... More

Having walked past a few times and had some banter with the waiter, who seem to remember you days later, we thought we'd give it a try and were pleasantly surprised at the food and service. Well worth a lunchtime stop.

Worried that some products are frozen so we asked and they advised that's just in winter - beef for lasagne for example. We both had the lasagne. It was tasty but not anything special. We had a bottle of house red which was €14. Hubbi had tiramisu which came in a glass container as If it had just come out... More

This by far was our favourite place to eat whilst staying in Sorrento. I had the lemon pasta and my husband the lasanga and was stunning food. We found this place on our last night and were both gutted as we would of liked to of gone back again. The waiter staff were very good and left you alone to... More

The fish was served without anything elae and was full of fishbones. We were still hungry so we ordered a rizotto. The local house wine (375 ml) was so bad that we did not drink it. Our daughter liked her 8 Euros special pasta plate. The bill was 90 Euros for a meal that worth maybe 55 Euros and I... More

I would most definitely recommend Ristorante Sorrento ....Via P.R. Giuliani it is absolutely gorgeous, food amazing, staff just so friendly and reasonable prices too. Exmaple ... shared starter, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 1/2 bottle house red (very good house wine) a beer and large bottle still water and 2 coffees was under €60. DO NOT PASS BY. It was so... More
