The best meal of our trip was at Ristorante Ruccio. We were a party of six, four adults and two teenagers. We ordered the seafood mix appetizer which I think was 20 Euro. So much food kept coming, I just kept asking did we order all this? The baby octopus souffle was out of this world, I wish I could... More

Just back from Sorrento where we dined at Ruccio's twice in the week. This is a lovely sea front restaurant where you get a wonderful transfer from and back to your hotel - the driver is just soooo friendly and gives lots of helpful information. The staff look after you really well and are so welcoming. The setting by the... More

Fantastic restaurant which is situated overlooking the marina. Wide selection on the menu and all the meals we had were top rate. The staff were all very friendly, spoke great English but were happy to allow us to practice our Italian with them! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention to Sonny, Mario, Aniello and Vittorio, who looked... More

The location of this little Ristorante at the side of the Marina Piccalo is a delightful setting to enjoy one of the best Margarita Pizza's in Sorrento. Sitting watching the comings and goings in the harbour whilst enjoying a beer and pizza is something we have done for a few years now and we always enjoy our visits here.

We went here on the first night of our holiday and enjoyed it so much that we went back, and back, and back. The food is simple, but delicious. The view over the Marina was always superb - but even better on the nights that we could see fireworks over the bay. The service was friendly, good and unhurried (and... More

We arrived in Sorrento by boat and having walked round the harbour we stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was inexpensive and delicious. This was also the only restaurant in Sorrento that provided us with tap water free of charge. the pasta and seafood was sublime and our meal was very... More

Fantastic venue and brilliant service. Complimentary bus pickup from our hotel with a very friendly driver who gave a mini history of the area during our drive. Chef Enzo is to be congratulated and waiters Sonny and Mario were pleasant and attentive. Can't recommend enough and be sure to try the starter of mussels and cockles.

We tried Ruccio one evening that we bought some gelato and the staff invited us to sit in. We then went back the next night for dinner and were not disappointed by the food and customer service. Mario remembered us from our short visit the evening before and Sonny was an attentive and friendly waiter thoroughly our meal. We thoroughly... More

Loved our experience , beautiful setting at the waters edge in the port looking out at the boats and sound of the water. Free taxi service back to your hotel if you require or up to talasso sq which is a bonus if you ever have had to walk up

This is a cute little restaurant located in Sorrento harbour, right by the water, so it has a pretty fabulous location. We were served by Sonny and Gaetano, both of whom were really friendly, talkative and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting to them, especially as they remembered us and greeted us like old friends each time we turned up. The... More
