We stayed at the Hilton Sorrento. The Trattoria was down the street. Excellent value, everything on the menu is cooked fresh. The entire family works the business. We met Nonna the head chef, Dad, Son and Daughter Rita. This place alone will get me back to Sorrento.

We are here twice during a recent stay in Sorrento, the food was superb. The mixed appetiser is certainly worth sharing, lots of lovely flavours. Pasta penne arrabiata was the nicest that I have ever had. We loved the complimentary homemade limoncello. The family who run the restaurant are so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Well worth a... More

Seriously good food - in the great tradition of nonna cooking the food homestyle. Nonno is the charmer at the front of house. You feel like you've been invited in to share an intimate evening with old friends time and time again. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is not limited to the menu. If they can do it... More

Located very close to where had rented our apartment, very good choice of food & local wine. The mixed starter is incredible & excellent value - very happy for you to share. Mario who owns the restaurant is charming & attentive but speaks very little English, his wife Anna does the cooking & its great.

This restaurant was highly recommended to us by our Bed and Breakfast, Palazzo Montefusco. They said if we wanted family, home cooked Italian food this was the place in Sorrento. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were treated like family. We had a wonderful arrangement of several Italian dishes and they were simply delicious and their homemade... More

I have travelled and worked a few months a year in Italy for 30 years, this family run Tratoria Pizzeria is such a great old fashioned place, took me back many years, proper home cooking by mamma, simple very well cooked meals with the best ingredients, elegantly served. The pizza chef Enzo, (normally up to his armpits in flour) He... More

Don't be put off by the external view is the key message here.... we had visited the bar several times before but never eaten here prior to our New Year visit to Sorrento. Cheaper than the bars and restaurants in the main part of the town, this restaurant produces high quality food cooked to order (so there may be a... More

This is a fantastic family run trattoria, with beautiful food and nice relaxing surrounding, Enrico and his family always make us feel so welcome, the food is the best in the area bar none, all cooked by his lovely mum. Each time we return we forget how nice the food is, great choice and all freshly cooked, every meal is... More

We've been in Italy for a week, and this is by far the best meal yet. the pasta was homemade and the best we've ever had. We will likely return before we leave Sorrento.
