Tomorrow we ferry over to Napoli to try PortÁlba (origin of pizza) but Miccio serves the best pizza we have tried, even better than Pizza Antica di Bellagio up north. He does something with basil and other spices and wonderful Italian tomatoes that makes a magic taste. My doctor says no cheese so I could only have the marinara. Bravissimo... More

Don't waste your money here, the pizza was not good!! Looks like one of those typical tourist traps you get while in Europe

We stayed at the Hilton Sorrento and although we tried a selection of attractive restaurants in the town, all of similar price and quality, Miccio was the nearest to our hotel, and by far the best. Don't be put off by the venue's appearance, it looks more like a small café bar than a restaurant, but the quality of the... More

Don't waste your money! Service was friendly but waited over an hour for food which wasn't served all at same time so some had long finished before others food had arrived. Two of our pasta dishes were cold and steak was almost raw despite being ordered well done. Would not deduct any of this awful food from our substantial bill!... More

We stayed at the Hilton Sorrento. The Trattoria was down the street. Excellent value, everything on the menu is cooked fresh. The entire family works the business. We met Nonna the head chef, Dad, Son and Daughter Rita. This place alone will get me back to Sorrento.

We are here twice during a recent stay in Sorrento, the food was superb. The mixed appetiser is certainly worth sharing, lots of lovely flavours. Pasta penne arrabiata was the nicest that I have ever had. We loved the complimentary homemade limoncello. The family who run the restaurant are so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Well worth a... More

Seriously good food - in the great tradition of nonna cooking the food homestyle. Nonno is the charmer at the front of house. You feel like you've been invited in to share an intimate evening with old friends time and time again. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is not limited to the menu. If they can do it... More

Located very close to where had rented our apartment, very good choice of food & local wine. The mixed starter is incredible & excellent value - very happy for you to share. Mario who owns the restaurant is charming & attentive but speaks very little English, his wife Anna does the cooking & its great.

This restaurant was highly recommended to us by our Bed and Breakfast, Palazzo Montefusco. They said if we wanted family, home cooked Italian food this was the place in Sorrento. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we were treated like family. We had a wonderful arrangement of several Italian dishes and they were simply delicious and their homemade... More
