Under a Tent

Sit under a tent by the Mediterranean and can enjoy seafood, pizza or pasta, drink wine or beer and chat with other diners. International crowd. Very relaxed. Good service. Not expensive. One can see fisher folk mending tents, see the local boys play football (soccer to Americans) and enjoy a... read more

We are regulars along Marina Grande and have tried most of the restaurants. We popped in here for dinner. It's a busy seafood trattoria along Marina Grande with the same beautiful views as the other restaurants. The food was OK but not fantastic. Sea Bass was overcooked. What got me was the poor attitude of the staff. We found they... More

We stayed at the Hotel Del Mare and found this was our favourite restaurant we tried a few on the marina and this was by fare the best value for money, the waitress (sorry we didn’t get your name) was extremely helpful and even advised us that we had ordered too much food at one point, she recommended a side... The food was good and the service was nice but preferred Soul & Fish, which is also on Via Marina Grande

Everything was delicious!! First impepata di cozze, vongole and marinated anchovies and salmon then fried calamari and prawns, grilled fish with green salad and chips. A welcoming family, great food with the perfect panorama!

There is no better place to be than here on a glittering summer's evening, as the location can't be faulted. The food was good but you've really got to like fish to get the best from it. The service was a little peremptory (even a but curt) but it was incredibly busy. We asked three times for our bill and... More

Get there early for dinner because this place packs up quickly. Mixed fish and seafood baskets are popular as are mussel and other pasta dishes. Family run business is very efficient in turning the tables, and is very affordable for delicious tasty seafood. Is part of and supports local fishermen's coop. Fresh food indeed. Located on the marina grande, so... More

I loved the atmosphere here sitting on the quay side eating fish. We all had mussels for a starter and they were delicious. My brother and me had ours with tomatoes and my mum had a creamy sauce. They were both nice. We ordered three different meals prawns (which were not fresh). My brother was slightly put off by these... More

Last meal in Sorrento and we couldn't have chosen better for lunch. The portions are large, the calamari and sardines were fresh and delicious. The white wine, a Falanghina was served in a quarter litre jug so just enough not to send me to sleep. We finished by sharing a wild strawberry tart - the pastry was light and crispy,... More
