Lunch and dinner both good

We ate a quick lunch here and decided we would go back another night for dinner. The food and service at lunch was very good but took a bit of a dive at dinner. However, to be fair to the waiter, it seemed like all the other waiters had gone on a break and left him alone, plus he had... read more

Another restaurant that we went back to. We were wandering the beautiful streets of Sorrento when we came upon this place. An English couple were just leaving and we asked their opinion - they said it was so good they had been twice, so we gave it a go. The service was pretty sharp and the waiters were friendly and... We ate lunch here. It specialises in pizza. These are cooked in a wood oven. There must have been about 25 from which to choose. We thought the prices were fair. We shared bruschette, Pizza a beer and a bottle of wine for €37 Everything tasted good and the service was fine.

Seated by a chiller cabinet - very romantic!! I had the "special of the day" - crab ravioli. It was awful and the pasta so hard, I actually couldn't cut into the ravioli with a KNIFE! My partner's meal had arrived, but I sent mine back so we ended up eating in relays. The second attempt was no better, but... More

Can't understand the bad comments in here. We had a table of 8 on a busy night, great tentative service, food arrived together and hot the food was tasty and the wine went down well... what more do you want!

Il Pozzo restaurant and pizzeria . Dated décor , old phonographs groovy dressed patrons a funeral procession outside, ticks all the boxes for me .The trendy hippie left sipping kombucha are not here . The incredibly grumpy huffy Italian and his wife ( bless her ) are here . The age defining to brown hair and skin with jumper tied... More

So disappointed! Not used to writing critical reviews so finding it difficult to pen this. Invited to a table crushed between in-use wine rack and next table. No bread offered but expensive wine recommended by waiter following cursory examination of wine list. Chose one of the chef specialities which turned out to be deep fried chicken goujons and sweet chilli... More

It is very rare for me to have such a bad experience in a restaurant. From the outside it looked nice enough, and as it was a Monday many of the other restaurants in town were shut. However, DO NOT GO THERE!!! We arrived at the restaurant just before 8 o clock and ordered our food swiftly, however it did... More

Took family for meal here. Starter was slow. Mains took 1 hour to come. We sat outside and gas burner went out. We asked them to fix it. Waiter could not, and just walked off. We got very cold. I hope a Monday is just a really bad night for them.

On our final night we chose this Restaurant, reviews weren't too bad and it was near us. It wasn't very busy, we were sat down and given a menu, we were absolutely starving as we had nothing all day since breakfast and I was desperate for some tasty pasta. After choosing wine and food choices, we were left waiting for... More
