Tucked away on a hill outside of the town, this family run restaurant was a great find. The food was beautiful and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff too.

Our hotel recommended this place as a local, reasonably priced place to eat and the free shuttle bus there n back meant we didn't have to worry about transport. We were seated outside very near to a chicken coup which was slightly strange and quite noisy. My husband had to request insect repellent due to the amount of insects flying... More

We felt that this restaurant was very strange indeed. It is out of the main town, up in the hills, though it was just a short walk from our restaurant. Despite this, it was absolutely massive, bigger than any restaurant in town. It certainly seems popular, and the night we were there it was almost completely full, despite the large... More

This restaurant was recommended by friends who are meat lovers. Incredibly tender flavorful and tasty blood rear steak is served and cut at your table by friendly servers. My homemade gnocchi appetizer in a red sauce was amazing—for some it would be enough for a main course. It was so was delicious!!!! A fresh Mediterranean fish chosen my by wife... More

If you like mosquitos and livestock this is the place for you. If not find somewhere else to enjoy food. The pasta is from a box, not fresh. It tastes ok, but it is what it is. The steak was expensive 20€ and it was almost as good as a $3 steak I once had in Maine. Overpriced, mediocre food,... More

Up in the hills above Sorrento, this HUGE but welcoming restaurant lives. A wonderful and varied menu, aged beef, the freshest of vegetables and cheeses. For those of us staying in Sorrento proper, they offer a pick up and drop off service. Can't wait to return to Da Filippo for another dish of mozzarella in lemon leaves.

This restaurant is not very easy to find, but they have a minivan that will come and pick you up. It is worth visiting for the very good meat dishes, and of course all the traditional Italian Antipasti, Paste, Contorni and so on. It is quite large and gets crowded in the evenings so a reservation is a good idea.... More

This was a recommendation from the hotel as one of the few places to go to to eat meat. Courtesy car to and from restaurant. It's a very large large outdoor cabin (plastic patio chairs) and adjacent inside restaurant (very different but really characterful). Outside is the place to be! Inside they have the meet, fish and desserts on show... More

This is a bit out of the way, but restaurant provided transportation from the Hilton! The food was great, and very reasonable. Authentic food and very popular with the locals! We had steaks and lovely local red wine. Highly recommend!
