Probably the best meals I have ever had. Met the chef who served the taster menu with accompanying drinks - the service was impeccable from arrival to departure.

This is by far the best meal we had in europe during our trip! It is a very romantic charming little restaurant set in an old monastery. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt special! the service all around was wonderful and they cater very well to your taste and preferences. I tried their white... More

Booked Il Buco as a special treat for my girlfriend on our first holiday away (also her first Michelin restaurant) From the moment we arrived, to when we eventually left, the staff were stunningly helpful and the service was faultless. Despite not booking one, we were given on the the few tables 'Al fresco' in the covered walkway outside, next... More

What a delight Il Buco is. Probably the most magical dining experience that I have ever had. The food was sensational and the service was unbeatable. The waiters saw to our every need and desire and the chefs even came out to talk to us, introduce all of the food to us and to see what we liked & disliked... More

If cost is not an issue and you're looking for a gorgeous modern gourmet experience, down a beautiful ancient alleyway in Sorrento, this is it. All the little touches are there from the first plate of half a dozen different breads "baked by chef overnight" to the final wicked little sweet extras that come with coffee. Service is impeccable and... More

We booked the restaurant based on high TA review but was quite disappointed. My husband and I both ordered the tasting menu; manager promised to make 2 diff menus for us so that we can try more diff dishes (which was really nice). However we didn't think our sets were that diff at all - it felt more like his... More

After seeing good reviews on TripAdvisor we went to il Buco, we had to book and you'd really need to do so because it's always busy. The starters we had were unbelievable and the good food kept coming thru all courses. The deserts are particularly good. Each and every bit was lovely and a great wine selection too. Well worth... Restaurant okay. Not a great restaurant as it was in the past. Food is okay, but not great. Not worth the high price. Sorry Il Bucco, do not get back to you.
