We went here to celebrate our engagement and were very disapointed. The menu is made for extremely upper class people that have a minimim of €200 to spend on a meal which to us is ludacris. We got a martini a glass of wine a starter that we didnt ask for but was kindly put on our bill and two... More

It happens to be the wedding anniversary for my friends, so we took this as a celebration, and it is not disappointing at all! The fish is fantastic, the pasta is delicious, and the Panna Cota is top class!

Ok we got it off a Michelin star site so was expecting good and we weren't disappointed. Set in the old monastrys wine cellers all decked out in linen whites and beiges. Staff are excellent and attentive as you would expect and the food is outstanding.... typical Michelin star food, small, well balanced, rich and very satisfying. All the finishing... More

We went here on our first night in Italy for dinner. This restaurant is very highly rated, so it was hard to get reservations. We showed up a bit early, but they were super nice and gave us some prosecco while we waited to be seated. The restaurant itself is kind of underground - with a wine cellar / cave... More

THe whole experience is fantastic! The atmosphere, the service, the general decor as well as the food and wine are all amazing! We ate here for the first time last year and were blown away by the whole experience. Yes, it is a very expensive restaurant but we felt so well looked after and we enjoyed it so much that... More

Great good, great place! Food was outstanding and so was service! It was indeed a unique experience, like eating in an underground tavern. The food was delicious. When we arrived we were lucky to be shown this huge live lobster which we took. It was only one of 2 lobsters freshly caught that night. We had it done with a... More

If you're in Sorrento, eat here. If you're not in Sorrento, change your plans and eat here. Outstanding in all aspects of a dining experience.

We had our wedding day meal at Il Buco and it was the perfect evening on the most perfect of days! My husband and I stumbled across Il Buco on the way back to our hotel on our first day in Sorrento. We loved the look of the restaurant, very intimate and the menu was devine. We thought it would... More

We did not have a reservation, so we were seated in a dining area that was outside of the restaurant. It seemed nice at first, but we quickly realized it was part of a major pedistrian walkway. The food was good and very creative, but nothing that blew us away.

We went the first night we were in Sorrento. If you are looking for a place that fills your plate this is not for you. If you are looking for a dining experience with fresh local food and fantastic service this is the place for you. The service was first rate and all the servers were very friendly and helpful....
