The food and service in this restaurant were excellent. It was populated with locals and tourists. The owner personally takes each guests order, and the food is served superbly by the staff. It is a great continental atmosphere and worthy of your visit and enjoyment. It fills up rapidly at mealtime.

At first glance this restaurant looks very touristy - something that we usually avoid. We went in to look around and noticed that very little English was being spoken. It turned out to be an amazing evening. The staff was excellent and the food was really good. We shared a rather small rooms with a large family celebrating some occasion.... More

This restaurant is a must if You visit Sorrento. They welcome You with a glass of champagne, the service is outstanding and food really incredible. Dont miss the spaghetti vongole! Another great thing: it is open during the afternoon which is dificult to find in Italy!

Our experience at Caruso was wonderful in every way: food, wine, atmosphere and service. We were seated in a beautiful room with dark waiscoating and vintage photos of Enrico Caruso; we were the only Americans in the room; every other table seemed to be prosperous locals (always a good sign). The menu and wine list are extensive. There were four... More

We were recommended by a couple we met the previous night to try Caruso's which is a very interesting and appealing looking restaurant. Unfortunately the night we were there they had a large party of Japanese guests in the middle section of the restaurant with their own singer and mandolin player. They sat us next door which is open plan... More

What a great restaurant this is. The whole experiece ( atmosphere , food , wine and staff ) was top class. So much better than Il Buco. We were advised to eat here by an Italian local called Toni who we met in the town square and boy was he right.

Visited twice during our stay. Lovely restaurant decorated throughout with memorabilia of Caruso. The staff are very attentive and when we visited, there was music provided by a competent guitarist & singer who played selections chosen by the guests - wonderful atmosphere. The food on our first visit was excellent and the whole experience was worth 5 stars, which is... More

A meal in this restaurant is a genuinely memorable experience. Some chefs can make even an ordinary-sounding dish extra special and the chef at the Caruso Restaurant has this gift. All the food was delicious and the service was excellent. As fans of Caruso's wonderful voice we also loved the fascinating collection of memorabilia on display throughout the restaurant. We... We found this restaurant by accident and whilst initially it looked very formal we found this to be a beautiful old school dining experience. Very friendly staff who were attentive but not overly so and the food was very good. The crab ravioli was beautiful and the zucchini flowers are a must!
