Delicious and genuine service

We read about this spot and then stumbled upon it. Glad we did. The man serving us also enticed us to come in when he told us about the specials. Great truffle pasta, though rich enough to share. Also delicious local fare made up our antipasti plate. Lovely little spot off the main track... Nice... read more

We find the restaurant by accident and not regretting it for a minute. The antipasti were originals and wonderful. Spaghetti whit culms was another good dish. For main course we had black angus steak, it was tender and full of tastes. Cup of limoncello was a great way finishing a lovely lunch.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. If you notice in my pictures, they take pride in speaking English but the menu was only in Italian and we barely understood our waiter. First clue that you might be taken for a ride since you have to rely on the staff for recommendations. We ordered 2 Caprese salads and our waiter said... More

This restaurant is authentic, feels local and serves superb food. The owner is extremely friendly and despite being humble, speak very good English. The food was superb... so much so that we ordered 3 main courses (for two people) despite the generous starters! The wine was good... and the bill was very reasonable (110 euros for two people with two... More

Definitly the best food we've had in Salerno! Octopus and tuna were delicious, so was the mussel soup! Everything was fresh and tasteful, very friendly staff!

I came here and had the grilled squid (best I've ever tasted) with a small green salad. Then a panna cotta with fruits of the forest for dessert, together with 2 glasses of white wine and a little limoncello. It all came to 30 euros so wasn't cheap, but the owner was extremely friendly and both service and quality was... More

We had the mixed earth starter and it was one of the best on our italy trip. For mains the tuna and the cheese with truffels were delicious. We had a table on the street, they have some indoor tables too.

The service, the food and the cosy atmosphere are hard to find anywhere else. The small restaurant with a small menu offers an authentic atmosphere and really nice food. Don't miss the homemade meloncello! Please go and support Gianluca and his staff, you won't regret it.

Recommended to us by our B&B host. Great choice. We were in Salerno for a week and had 3 dinners and 2 lunches at Angolu Masuccio, just had to keep going back!Wonderful food, amazing seafood, good wines and great value. Don't worry about the menu, just ask for the recommendations and go with their suggestions. Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly... More

I was recommended this place by the hotel host and I loved it! It's small, in the heart of Salerno, and the food was amazing. I had seared tuna and my boyfriend had some pasta which was cooked with beans and mussels. The tuna was perfectly cooked and served with an onion marmalade/ chutney. The only thing that bugged me...
