Conveniently tucked in a narrow, pedestrian only street just inside the Eastern limit of Salerno's Centro Storico, this unpretentious little (family owned?) restaurant provided us for two nights on a row with what we needed after playing the perfect tourists from morning to evening: happy relaxation with the excellent "slow food" another reviewer mentioned, as well as the good Italian... Super! We were happy to be here. Hi-end home made quality! Slow food. Just ask to recommend you dishes and wait. But don't forget book table before.

We are on a budget so only ordered one pasta and one meat main between two. They split this into two courses, halving each dish between us which was much appreciated! Atmosphere was great, packed with both locals and tourists. Waiter spoke perfect English. Food was fresh, tasty and interesting.

We struggled to find a decent restaurant on our first evening in Salerno. We had walked in the wrong direction! In the old town there are many restaurants but this was our favourite. So much so that we ate there 3 times during our stay. There were lots of locals eating in this restaurant and on Saturday evening it had... More

Luca - B&B Alto Mare, sent us to this restaurant. It was very good. It's a small place with tables outside. The food is very good. The local wine was cheap very tasty. My first time to try Razor Clams. Very fresh!

An experience that exceeds expectation. A humble place tucked in a little street away from the main drag. What caught my attention was the fact that the place was well attended well before dinner time. We were lucky to have a seat without reservation. The food was beautiful but what really distinguishes Angolo Masuccio was the service. The guys working... More

Lovely our first meal out of our holiday, been here before and is still a really decent place to eat, the falangina wine is lovely and chilled perfectly, I had the secondo which was the pork, lettuce with balsamic and crushed nuts really nice, next time I would like to try the antipasti which looks amazing. Can't go wrong here.

I went here last summer with my 21 year old. Salerno is the best buy near Pompeii, and on the Amalfi coast and I just lucked out when the owner greeted us, no pressure to eat. We walked away but came back. For 55 Euros, I got an appetizer (2 actually as we each got mussels), linguine w white clam... More

I have eaten here many times and it is always delicious. I always order the 5 appetizer which includes a small fritta eggplant stuffed with ricotta pickled, grilled pumpkin, a tart filled with cheeses and zucchini. The appetizers change, but they always have two different 5 starters vegies and seafood. The pasta all have differnt sauces, usually red, a cream... More
