This place is more traditional than the pictures of the antipasto might imply. Cheaper, too. Warm host whos English was better than my Italian. We had 2 pasta dishes here. Quality was as good as Rome.

We found this place the other night, but it was unfortunately full, so decided to come back the day after - was met by good service, good food and a complimentary glass of prosecco from the manager. Overall a great little restaurant and highly recommended. A word of caution though - the 'large beer' essentially comes in a large wine... More

Place is cozy, cute and the service was very good! Meals were delicious, the dessert outstanding. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco which was a very nice detail and at the end of our dinner we were given a shot of home made Limoncello which was the best I ever had.

We had delicious pizzas one night at this restaurant in Salerno. It's location is fantastic and everything was good about our meal.

This is a small restaurant in an old basement. Very nice with good (but not great) food. Full house with locals is always a good sign so make sure to book your table in advance. An own character - for instance no coffee after dinner and no mozarella cheese (that you can eat at home)

It can be difficult to eat out on your own. Furthermore in a country where dinners are big affairs and eaten like 8pm/9pm onwards, I wasn't sure if they would cater for lunch at the "ungodly" 3ish in the afternoon! It was open and I was warmly welcomed by the owner/manager Cici who spoke a little English. This restaurant was highly... More

We popped in early afternoon (so we could find it in daylight) and book a table. Lucky we did, we got the last one. A with good reason this place is so popular. I asked the chef if they could do gluten free ( the menu changes depending on what's fresh). When we came back he remembered us and presented... More

We arrived in Salerno and were a bit disappointed as our hotel was not near any restaurants. We used Tripadvisor and decided to take a cab to Cicirinella Ristorante. Our hotel told us this was a good restaurant. Glad we took a cab as we never would have found it. Ambiance was great and food was even better. Could easily... More
