We dined in here for a special occasion and it did not disappoint. We went for the 7 course tasting menu and each dish was as delicious as the last, we even got a complimentary starter. We were so full afterwards, completely worth the money. The décor was unusual but I thought it made it more Italian/Authentic. The service was... More

The restaurant has a Michelin star but sadly seems to lack the atmosphere of other Amalfi restaurants. However if you are looking for a nice romantic spot away from prying eyes this might just be what you are looking for. We had an excellent meal which was superb with excellent attentive, but not obtrusive service. It was expensive but not... More

I don't get the rave reviews for this restaurant. On the plus side the service was impeccable and friendly. However, the food was no better than we had eaten on the terrace in Amalfi town the previous evening but 3x the price. 36 euro for a pasta dish which was under seasoned and no hint of the lobster that it... This is exactly where you would expect to have Old School Neapolitan Cuisine, menu dishes from the 1950's . Old family favourites cooked to perfection. If you fancy trying something different from anywhere else, this s perfect. I agree that there is little atmosphere, but the restaurant was quite empty on the evening we dined. Unusual paintings and ceramics in... More

A very small restaurant hidden away on almost the main square of amalfi.a very nice owner second generation they have one star Michelin .they deserve two. The food very very tasty spaghetti with potatoes and calamari heads .a lemon leaves fried and inside fresh fish. Every dish is ordinal and tasty. Their lemon soufflés looks a killer. But have to... Every time during our lovely holidays in Amalfi (my husband and I have been there 4 times already) we visit this restaurant. It’s one of the best on the Amalfi coast because of its unique atmosphere including outstanding variations of Italian cuisine (mainly sea food), perfect service and such a marvelous interior decoration. The prices are high but it’s a... More

We went here bc the reviews from various online sources were incredible. We sat down, ordered water and looked at the menu and knew this wasn't for us. The menu was pretty much all seafood. I like seafood, but this seafood was quite exotically prepared and extremely pricey. Their prices were SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER than any other restaurant we visited on... More

We chose the Degustation Menu (including the wine). The restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine at its best. At Euro 160 per head it is not cheap, but it was well worth it. One can choose other Degustation Menus at half this price, but I really recommend the "top of the class" choice that we opted for. It is 9 courses and... More

If someone likes tradition, excellent food and if you think those people that love what they do, and do something with passion, this is the place! The owner, from the third generation of La Caravella, is a gentle and passionate gentleman. He drives you through the history of gastronomy in Campania, the story of the place and his family, and... One of the best seafood meals we have ever had was in this little restaurant on the road out of the town. Great service with all the extras you would expect from a high end restaurant.
