Simple breakfast, don't come too early if you want lunch.

We wanted to have lunch here but had a nice and simple breakfast instead. Perhaps don't come too early if you want to get lunch. It was just before noon when we walked in and I was surprised that they didn't serve lunch. Instead, they offered us their only option which is a basic breakfast... read more

This is a wonderful family run restaurant worth going out of your way for. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace with an ocean view, and an indoor dining room decorated with frescoes of Amalfi scenes. The clientele is a mix of locals and tourists, and everyone is treated very well. We ate here all three nights that we stayed in... More

Nice owners, very good food esp fish and focaccia. Good vine recommended. Rather simple but everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Enjoyed dolce that was a compliment. Would definitely come back. We regret to have a short stay in Amalfi and did not try pizza on the nice balcony the trattoria has. The gentlemen that took care of us almost... More

This restaurant is also a b&b. My family know their family. However, the best moment in my memory remains on her Christening..when my baby's luggage got lost at Naples and the guy from the airport says..'but I know your grandfather...don't worry about it! I'll look put for it and bring it to Al Pesce d'oro in Vettica on my moped... More

By the end of October I spent a week at the Amalfi coast. We were situated in an apartment close to this great restaurant. The host Pasquale gave us a very warm welcome the first night and seved us an amazing dinner. Even though we spent only 5 days at Amalfi coast we went there three times for dinner as... More

Pasquale and Salvatore... they are great people. Their villa and restaurant was really great. You can buy more expensive hotels and luxury but if you want to meet with italian hospitality dont think about it. Hotel room is very clean and simple. Tv, sir condition, hair dryer is standart. Most important thing is they have their own park place and... More

Together with friends we were a group of eight who had a wonderful dinner. The food was really great, but what was even better was their kind hospitality. We got several amuse bouche, and we more or less rolled-out to our cars - very happy. At first sight we did not expect this, so it was a really pleasant surprise.

Although the food was good the service left a lot to be desired. It seemed an effort for everything. If you do not like having smokers around - do not sit outside as all the inside diners come out to have a cigarette. As for value - much better service and surrounds for same price elsewhere close by.the bill did... More

Good restaurant with good service and fair prices. Lovely balcony to eat overlooking the sea. The local white wine is a bargain at €10 a bottle!

We were recommended the restaurant by our hotel and were grateful for the shuttle service that the Pesce D'Oro offers. The restaurant itself is dated and with little charm, and almost no atmosphere (on a Friday night). The staff speak no English and were abrupt with very few pleasantries, just repeatedly asking 'is good?'. The food itself was OK, quite... More
