Sunny day, beautiful view, aperol spritz--Heaven on Earth!

We sat there for several hours after visiting the cathedral, just people watching and enjoying the day. An extra added attraction was a wedding...all of the spectators in the piazza joined in applauding the happy couple as they exited the church...very jovial atmosphere...and the aperol spritzes... read more

This bar is situated opposite Amalfi Cathedral and is the ideal place for an outdoor afternoon snack and/or drink. I fell in love with their Limoncello Fever cocktail! We visited this bar three times during our stay. My husband went for a glass of red wine each time, and I ordered the Limoncello Fever twice and a Rossini once. We... More

The Pansa family must be one of the original families that feed the Amalfi visitors, as their name is on several nearby bars, restaurants and informal eating houses like this one. I go there for coffee and cornetto from time to time and the service is first class and the prices too. If you sit outside in the sun just... More

This is a tiny restaurant with couple tables situated just at the piazza duomo directly accross the church in Amalfi. The pizza was a mediocre Margherita. Insalata mista and crocchette were below average. A nice view, refreshing weather, watching the passer bys. That was the taste. Moreover a free wifi.

But a cappuccino is €4. Still, good value as you can sit outside in the main square of Amalfi and people watch as long as you want. We were there for almost three hours and weren't chased off our tables, even though we'd only ordered two cappuccinos. The bonus is that they have fast free WiFi too! Network is Bistro21.

We took a trip to Amalfi, Italy. We had lunch at Bistro which was located in piazza Duomo. They had an outdoor seating so we could watch people walk while we were eating. We ate 1 gnocchi alla sorrentina, 1 pizza Margherita, 2 beers, and 1 coke. The total bill was 36 euros.

Fantastic fresh gelato frappes, I can speak for the pistacchio in particular. Quite expensive, but so is all of the Amalfi coast, particularly popular piazzas like the one it is located in. Great view of the church in Amalfi from the outdoor seating.
