This shop is on the very short piece of main street between Piazza Duomo and the beachfront/bus pickup. We must have gone in here every day for either gelato or pastry. Make no mistake, this a pastry shop that has a gelato cooler as well. As titled, they have good gelato but they have even better pastry. Especially the Lemon... More

Better gelato can be found in Sorrento, but they had a very good choice of flavours. They also had a very good selection of cakes (which did not get a chance to try). Nice to buy an ice-cream then walk slightly up the hill on the left hand side and sit watching the boats come in.

We just returned from a 2-week vacation in Italy and I ate a LOT of gelato and this was positively the very best. The atmosphere of this beautiful town didn't hurt either. The pastries were also excellent. It was difficult to choose just one, they all looked so delectable. On the main piazza of the charming town of Amalfi, this... More

Returned several times to this pasticceria / gelateria easily found at one of the two entrances to Almafi's main piazza. A wide range of small and large cakes and gelato awaits you. I sampled several shortbreads and at owner's suggestion I tried a "Romano" a delicious nut encrusted small cake.

I have traveled all around the world and these pastries are the greatest! My husband and I have gone back for the past two nights and plan on going every night thereafter. You MUST try!

Hands down the best gelato I've had in the Amalfi Coast - and I've been trying left right and centre every chance I get! The best is the blood orange one (the one of the far left of the gelato fridge). Pricing is typical tourist - 3 euros for medium, 4 euros for large. Its located right in the main... More

This place is easy to find, right between the square and main road thru Amalfi. Many of the places that sell pastries either aren't very good at it, or they just aren't fresh. At the Savoia, the pastries are great and fresh. Try the treccia! Their gelato is also very good and the staff is always friendly.

My wife and daughter and I came upon Pasticceria Savoia at the end of a magical day. We were staying in a rented villa down the coast from Amalfi in Marmorata and ended up there one afternoon after a long circuitous walk from Minori up the endless series of stairs up to Ravello and then down a terrifying series of...
