We were recommended this restaurant by the manager of our hotel(it is run by his sister). So glad he did. We stayed in Amalfi for 7 nights and found ourselves drawn back most nights not just for the excellant food but also the lovely feel of the place. We were made to feel sooo welcome,it felt like we were being... More

Have now been in Italy for 10 days. This is one of the most average meals we have had so far. Nice enough hidden square, shaded terrace and relatively attentive if somewhat simple service. The food is not particularly noteworthy. Interesting enough sounding menu but the ingredients were the poorest we have experienced do far. We had marinated anchovies, a... More

I found this restaurant to have better good quality and more overall authenticity than some of the more touristy restaurants in the main square. It's a little hidden but worth it. Ask about daily specials.

We ate lunch here twice. The first time we were introduced by the Residenza Luce manager but the meal was so delicious and the ambience delightful that we returned for lunch on our second day too.

We went there for dinner on July 13th and the food was good but nothing special. They brought plenty of drinks quickly and treated us nice.

We had lunch at this very friendly restaurant. The food was excellent and tasty. We had a couple of plates to share and some local wine. There was a steady stream of happy customers and we thoroughly enjoyed our find.

Visited the beach and decided to eat late lunch early dinner. Found this restaurant in the small piazza through the arch, great food, not cheap (for the type of meal), friendly service. Like all restaurants in the Costeria it is over priced but decent.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we weren't disappointed. The outside seating looks over the piazza dei dogi and has a great atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented, tasted first class, but it was a small serve, and a bit on the expensive side. The lady owner was friendly and helpful.

We have just returned from Amalfi, we visited this family run restaurant several times for lunch or an evening meal. The service was friendly and efficient. The food served, was fresh and of good quality. We would recommend this restaurant to all. Having been in previous years, it constantly strives to improve. We will return!

My wife and I went one evening recently for dinner and enjoyed ourselves very much. We sat outside while at another cafe nearby people sat watching the Italy world cup match on an outdoor TV. Needless to say the football was getting most of the attention in the Piazza(dei Dogi). However, at L'Abside we were given ample personal attention by... More
