It was simply unimaginative, lacked attention in the detail, and generally not worth it. The service somewhat compensated. Not worth a stop.

Had a meal here one night and was honestly the best italian food I have tasted! The waiters were so attentive and friendly and the location of this restaurant was so lovely as it was just hidden from the busy square of Amalfi. It was packed when we went, so I would recommend booking!

I really enjoyed my dinner here. The restaurant is located on a small square, quiet and cozy. Food and service are pretty good.

An average food, plates from 10-12€ for pasta and 15-18€ the steaks and fishes. If you want white wine, the one from the house is a good option. Finally - service very good and good location. Not a bad place to have a lunch.

I went after seen TRIP advisor's reviews... I had very good mixed fish starter; My Rice seemed to be a soup and very bad taste. Fish was completely dry! I did not like house Wine and the lady (owner) WAS FIGHTING EVERY TIME WITH A WAITRESS... IN FRONT OF PEOPLE!!! No more!!!!!!!

L'Abside is one of the top restaurants in Amalfi offering affordable local cuisine, notably the usual seafood based which is super fresh. We ate here on our 2nd of 6 nights and it certainly lived up to its great reviews. Sitting outside on a rather balmy night, the atmosphere was great, service excellent and food even better. Only the wine... More

We tried different restaurants in Amalfi every night, but we just had to return to this place. The food was amazing, especially the seafood pasta, tiramisu and the pear & ricotta cake. Well assorted wine menu, and the excellent staff will gladly take you through it. We had dinner here two nights in a row, and still want to come... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the manager of our hotel(it is run by his sister). So glad he did. We stayed in Amalfi for 7 nights and found ourselves drawn back most nights not just for the excellant food but also the lovely feel of the place. We were made to feel sooo welcome,it felt like we were being... More

Have now been in Italy for 10 days. This is one of the most average meals we have had so far. Nice enough hidden square, shaded terrace and relatively attentive if somewhat simple service. The food is not particularly noteworthy. Interesting enough sounding menu but the ingredients were the poorest we have experienced do far. We had marinated anchovies, a... More

I found this restaurant to have better good quality and more overall authenticity than some of the more touristy restaurants in the main square. It's a little hidden but worth it. Ask about daily specials.
