Good, honest food and wine.

We were seated quickly and the service was very good. The choice of food was varied and we enjoyed the house white wine. No reason to complain.

We visited here three times during our recent stay in Amalfi and loved it. It's in a smaller square in the centre of town. The place is usually busy and buzzing in the evening and this is a great spot to relax at the end of a day. The seafood is gorgeous and very, very fresh. The service is really... More

This is one of Amalfi's hidden away restaurants that is well worth discovering. Everything was really great and the staff are superb but I've marked it down by one as location is not as lovely as it could be. It sits in a typical Amalfian square but it's proximity to a small supermarket means you can get an unexpected insight... More

We ate here twice for lunch. The first time we had a Pizza verduce and the amalfi salad - fantastic. Others had the pizza premavera - also equally good. We had the rose wine from the region which was 25E and an excellent choice. The second time we went I had the seafood pasta - not so good. However the... More

We had planned to eat here before going by boat to watch the fireworks in positano, but there was a huge thunderstorm which meant that the fireworks were cancelled. The restaurant looked after us very well, served great food and were very friendly, the special desert of chocolate aubergine was rich and dark.

Excellent restaurant in Amalfi. Unfortunately we found this in our last day in Amalfi. Food is amazing and great service. Not fancy place but conveniently located in the Amalfi center and most importantly great food. Considering that restaurant is reasonably priced it's a real Gem, much better than other ranked pretty high up that didn't impressed me. Would visit again.

We'd already done La Smerlendino the day before and shmoozed with the glamerati of the world at this secret restaurant that can only be accessed by boat so we wanted something closer to the hotel, maybe a bit less pricey, and just good value for money. After reading the various reviews, we tried Canceletto but there wasn't a table available.... More

We went to Amalfi for our honeymoon in July and the L'Abside became our most favourite restaurant. The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly, the customers were a nice mixture of local people and holidaymakers. Everyone at L'Abside made you feel so welcome, that you just felt at home there. The location is just of the main... More
