We were 2 couples eating after a day of sight-seeeing. Our friends vaguely remembered this restaurant from a visit 5 years ago, so we decided to give it a try. We had seen the tasting menus written up on the chalkboard outside for 20 or 25 euors for 4 courses. When we arrived, and were seated at a nice table... More

On the Main Street just beyond the cathedral the restaurant has a very calming atmosphere and you'll feel very relaxed in here. You're made to feel at home by the friendly staff who were very helpful when negotiating quite an extensive menu. The wine list was great and the house white with our fish course was excellent. The food didn't... More

Well placed in Amalfi and good value - I had nice grilled chicken with sauté potatoes which were very good at only 9eur. my wife enjoyed her Caesar salad too.

We had the Almalfi menu for 20 euros each. Comes with starter, 1st plate, 2nd plate and desert. Each plate wasn't substantial but you get to try more than just 1 dish. And the food wasn't too shabby too. However, the wait staff kept forgetting requests for olive oil, bread, plates etc. Including requests from the 2 tables beside us.

Black pasta with seafood was not very flavorful. Yet the king prawn and vegetable dish was quite tasty and the fried fish selection with aioli was above average. Otherwise price was ok and service wasn't memorable. Ok if you're rushed for time as we were.

We had a reasonably pleasant evening at this restaurant, it wasn't bad, the food was OK, the service OK and the house wine drinkable. But having said that we had a far better meal the following evening at La Piazzetta for less. Would we go back? Perhaps but only if La Piazzetta was closed.

Excellent food and service. It gets busy in the evenings and can feel a little frenetic but the food more than makes up for it. Air conditioned too.

I went here on my last night in Amalfi with my fiance. We had discussed during dinner what a well-run restaurant it was. It was very busy and there was a small staff that handled the restaurant very well. We had a wonderful time at dinner. That being said, the food was very average. It was lacking in flavor and... Had an afternoon snack at the restaurant and had the local dish parmigiana and A pizza. Both was totaly without any flavour and the tomatosauce was from A can... Go somewhere else!

We stayed in the Amalfi area for 2 Weeks and were very much looking forward to enjoying fine italian food from that region. After 5 days of trying different restaurants every evening we were a bit disappointed. Maybe it was because we were aiming at restaurants near by the water at first, so we could enjoy the magnificent view, but... More
