Great lunch

We arrived there after a recommendation of a Deli shop owner on the main street. The good places are usually hidden from the tourist's eyes on the main routs. The pizzas were great, the fish was excellent, the service was fine in spite of the crowded hour.

We stumbled upon this gem while taking the paths less travelled by tourists in amalfi. We had a wonderful meal the lasagna was similar to my nana's and the pizza was delish. If you want good food while in almalfi away from the tourist traps look this place up you will not be disappointed.

Eleven years ago we frequented this restaurant when it was under another name. New owners have taken over and they remodeled the restaurant. We ate several times here and got to know the people that worked there.....Stefanita, Johnny (the best wood fire pizza) and Andrea Teto Meme'......the staff coud not have been nicer to us, made us feel very much... We stumbled into this place by chance on our first night in Amalfi. We had no expectations but we were pleasantly surprised by their pizza and their friendly service. We actually went back once more before leaving the city.

The place is hidden off the main road. Great pizza oven, no so thin as in the rest of the region. Also great antipasti such as bruschetta and mozzarella. Service was friendly.

This lovely trattoria is hidden away off the Main Street in Amalfi up one of the many cobbled walkways. It's very friendly and the food was lovely. Cost was low to average for Amalfi and portions very generous. We went there twice during our stay and we're warmly greeted on our return visit. Well worth a visit.

To start with - you don't get good italian food made with love in a tourist area. This also counts for Amalfi and this restaurant. The place was touristic, the waiters friendly but distant, the spaghetti (made by cooks from another continent) was al superdente/partly uncooked. The clamps not very fresh. The espresso was half the size/volume of the regular... More

A very good pizzeria hidden among the back alleys of Amalfi. Very good and large selections of pizzas. There is a small inside room on one side of the alley and a large courtyard on the other side. pick the courtyard.

Looking for lunch place and trying to avoid hordes of American tourists on main street, climbing some side street stairs, my spouse and me came across this small Restaurant. As I mentioned atmosphere was very nice, because you could "only" see and hear locals passing by the stairs next to our table, which obviously lead toward residential area. However, beside... More

My boyfriend and I ended up in this restaurant for lunch when visiting Amalfi, we didn't have internet so could not check TripAdvisor for reviews which always makes me a bit nervous. We moved as far as possible from the turisty part of the village and thought of trying here. We ordered more food than we needed and some of... More
