a family run nice small restaurant

A small typical corner of Costiera in the middle of Amalfi, a mainly seefood place with a "personalized" service by a "funny" owner. The plates are simple but great, we had a soutè of mussels as starter, a pasta course of mussels and beans and a grilled fish, all great a perfectly cooked. All... read more

The staff was as helpful as could be in selecting a wonderful seafood lunch of bass, squid, and anchovies. This is difficult foods to prepare and it was done delightfully. A small place that allowed a quiet nook to eat and still be in on the street action. Delightful.

We walked by and liked the menu. We found the waiter to be a little rude but found the food amazing!!! When asked for anything it was like you were bothering them. When i was leaving I made sure I told them how much I loved the food. We decided to go back again then next night. They were so rude... We quite liked the look of this restaurant tucked into a corner of a piazza so had a beer first to think about whether we would have lunch, which we did, and slightly regretted it. Fried shellfish: actually moules and clams (contents small to the point of insignificance) mariniere with lots of liquid. The taste was good but really not... More

Visited this restaurant tonight after reading some good reviews on trip advisor. Don't believe what you read on here - take account that this restaurant is only about 35 in top restaurants in Amalfi. It is very rough and ready - no flowers or candles on the tables and no welcoming feel at all. The food is not cheap as... More

After reading the reviews we landed here with some hesitation (we had a toddler in our party, but our fears were unfounded! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Our three year old also had her margherita pizza cut up by the chef himself so it would be easier for her to eat. We tried a bit of... More

Didn't see this one on Trip Advisor but it's a little gem! Best food by far, good value wine (suggested by waiter). Try the eggplant stuffed with fish starter - delish!

We'd thought we'd visit this restaurant based on the good reviews, however when we turned up with our young son of two years we were informed that the restaurant was too busy. The restaurant was barely half full at lunch time with no reserved tables. It was very apparent that the waiter didn't want a young family dining at the... More

After reading reviews we decided to try out this little family run restaurant in Piazza Dei Dogi (in Amalfi village). We sat outside in the alley/walkway and were seated by a polite lady. Very quick service! We ordered half a litre of house red wine - SUPERB! We had some questions about the menu and these too were answered in... More
