We came across this smaller joy run restaurant by chance along a side street. A little gem, friendly with fantastic food.

Picked this restaurant because it was off the main street and it turned out to be a gem. We had asked our hotel to make a reservation for us and were greeted by name when we arrived. The restaurant is quite small with about six or seven tables inside (gentle air con) and more outside. The patron was very friendly... More

We tried this place by chance and went back a couple of times within a week. The owner and the main waitress were both very friendly and good fun, the food was consistently good and relatively cheap and the setting was central with a good atmosphere. They also readily gave you tap water for free, rather than insisting on you... More

First came here for lunch and thought the food was pretty good but not exceptional. Just a standard Carbonara which is done fairly well in most parts. The staff are nice enough and the main waiters brother is the cook. We went back with partners and the food was still at the same level so at least it was consistent.... More

Came across this restaurant by coincidence. Really nice place. Owner is fun guy and makes you feel at home. I had one of the best minestrone soup ever ! Owner's brother turned out to be the cook. Definitely a must when you are around Amalfi.

This little pizzeria is just a stones throw away from the main square. Ignoring the expensive eateries walk through the square about 50 metres and take the steps on the left up to Plazza Dei Dogi and in the far left corner you will find this unprepossessing little place. The owner is a lovely friendly guy who will passionately regail... More

We arrived around 8:30 pm as we had used the day to wander around Amalfi on our last day in town. The restaurant is tucked in the corner of Piazza dei Dogi off the main street. Our waitress was very nice, not much English but we were able to get our order. We shared three different dishes and had a... More
