This is a gem in the heart of Amalfi. Wonderful family run restaurant . Food is fresh and wonderful. The bruschetta has a family recipe with lovely bread. Parmigiana, home made desserts and Amalfi specialties. What also makes this place so special is the welcome of the owner VIviana and her husband who add that special touch making you feel... More

Amalfi is full of restaurants which, whilst friendly on the surface, appear to hustle tourists. This restaurant is different, run by a couple and their (adult) children. Quiet, almost diffident, but excellent food and good value. We returned there a couple of days later for lunch, and were greeted as old friends - which was nice.

I had mixed sea food salad. So fresh and delicious. My husband had spaghetti bolognese, again, freshly made. We spent 13 days in Italy and this was the best food we ate. I would return in a heartbeat. Staff were very friendly. We went there when we noticed our tour guide eating there.

Not on the main square or main street but in a little piazza just off. Small, only about 4 or 5 tables. Fresh cooked pasta ..large portions. Very reasonably priced.

Risto is a small quaint little place off of the main piazza in Amalfi. We stopped in for a little refreshment and were treated like we were the only people who visited. No doubt you'll enjoy your time here!

The owners were very friendly (even though they don't speak English) and seemed to really care whether or not we enjoyed our meal (more than I can say for a lot of the other restaurants in Amalfi). I had the special - seafood risotto, and my husband had scallopine al funghi. Cover charge was 2EU per person. The risotto (10EU)... More

Tucked away in a corner of Dogi Square & specialising in seafood. Plenty of other choices but we had mussels and grilled Dorada (Seabream) at very good prices. Not being familiar with Italian wine we asked the owner who suggested the cheapest bottle of white on the wine list (12e), it was fine.

We liked the food, & atmosphere in this family run restaurant so much we went back 4 times in our stay in Amalfi. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff & it was a very relaxed place to enjoy a range of excellent traditional Italian food. All in all food quality , friendly service & price - first class... I could not agree more with the other reviews: - Nice location in a square just 2 minutes away from the busy main street - Great family-run restaurant with reasonable prices for the Amalfi Coast and striving to serve quality food (the best dishes we had were based on the home-made scialatielli pasta) And they really know how to treat...
