Stopped there on the way to Positano - wary of another disaster like Z'Ntonio on the previous day in Sorrento, we ventured in this place with no real expectations. We sat on the terrace overlooking the beach and from that moment we knew we were in the right place. They turned a simple margherita pizza into a wonderful lunch, my... More

We were not impressed by the restaurant/cafe offerings in Amalfi - the main street tourist hub was thronging and most were over busy, so we decided to take a look at the beachfront in this otherwise lovely town. We have never been too keen on beachfront eateries as all too often they fall short on the food, whilst offering the... More

We took a day trip to Amalfi during a one week holiday based in Sorrento. We chose the Ristorante Marina Grande for lunch and were delighted. The service from the moment we walked through the door was excellent - very attentive without being intrusive. We had a lovely table loooking over the beach and the sea. The food was exceptional... We had an excellent meal except my Seafood pasta was slightly over salted. The restaurant is in a superb location being on the beach, I would certainly go again Like all Amalfi Restaurants it is pricey compared to some of Italy

The first course was fruits de mere and linguine in a light olive oil and garlic sauce that was exceptional. My wife was then fully satisfied with a simple grilled sea bass plate; and I opted for the sea bream which was just as fresh and attractively presented. The surprise was a panna cotta with a chocolate sauce. I would... More

As I am from New England, I love seafood. The ambiance is reminiscent of a classy but casual waterside restaurant you could find on the Cape but the food is in a different league. They have a great history which you read about in the menu and a very adventurous menu. I had the Sea Bass Parmigiana and it was... More

The restaurant is located directly overlooking the beach and harbor in Amalfi. My wife, friends and I stopped by for a quick round of drinks and a snack; and a few days later my wife and I came back for dinner. You can't beat the location especially around sunset. The open air dining is so relaxing. The staff was very... More

Service and food were first class. Could not fault it. Great views over the sea. Liked it so much we ate here twice whilst visiting Amalfi.

Stopped in for lunch after walking around Amalfi and it was perfect. Ordered a bottle of wine and a hand full of small plates, including Octopus, Scallops, and fish. A little more expensive but 100% worth it since the food was so tasty. Service was great and the views of the water is a nice complement.

Romantic, great food, elegant and still carismatic italian service. We had a great Romantic dinner with the sea view. We choose it for the second time in out honeymoon. Raw fish served very fresh which is very important. The waiters specially Gianpaolo made the best time! Lovely Limoncello casero.
