Great setting under lemon trees

Very nice setting in a private courtyard under lemon trees. Service was good and the pizza was delicious. Very popular with both tourists and locals!

I was very excited to find out that my hotel was a stone's throw from this famous and raved-about pizzeria, so I went there one night of my trip and…well, my pizza was great but the service was not. I was alone and I guess they thought I was waiting for someone (Italians are confused by a woman traveling alone)... More

The place is very enjoyable, you have to climb some stairs to see it, but when you arrive you can discover a nice garden with lemon trees. We came with our little child, people wer very welcoming. the Pizza we ordered were very good. But you would better be in holiday and have time, because as the place is very... More

Small quaint fabulous pizzeria Let me paint the picture its pouring rain, and we are so grateful to find a dry warm place for a coffee. We glance over to the array of home cooked food and cannot wait till lunch it's 11am and we order homemade fresh lasagna straight from the oven and rice balls with a caprese salad.... More

We came here due to recommendation from an experience Amalfi traveler. The pizza is very good and the price is reasonable. You eat in a nice lemon "garden".

Recently we have spent 8 days in Amalfi and we have dine at Donna Stella pizzeria 3 times. The terrace covered with lemons trees was so beautiful and the food was so good especially the famous Cuoppo and the pizza very special, I'm only sorry that I was to full to try dessert. I'll certainly try it next time. The... More

We asked everyone in Amalfi where we could find the best pizza, every single one said this place. So we finally got there and it was really fantastic. A cross between Sicilian and Napolitano. We were lucky enough to arrive just as a fresh pie was coming out of the oven and it was definitely worth the wait (the hours... More

As noted by other reviewers, the pizza was good, though overpriced. The waiter was not in the least interested in our empty wine glasses, and refused to give us water from anything except a bottle. We watched many tables who arrived after us get their food before us. While the lemon tree branches gave the garden effect in the midst... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the manager of our hotel,me specially because of the pizza. It's not upmarket, but that's its cuteness. It's tucked out of the way up an alley, then up a few steps. The wine menu is smal but pizza choices are great, they are amazing. The restaurant is set under a smart yard under some... More

What can I say? This is lovely restaurant which serves the most delicious pizza I have ever had in my life! My husband had a seafood pasta dish which he said was lovely but next time he would have a pizza as well. The tiramisu was awesome but one between two would have been sufficient! The restaurant itself is set... More
