A perfect haven out of the sun and busyness of the main Amalfi square. Just a few hundred metres away with authentic food and drinks at good prices. We enjoyed tuna and tomato brushetta and carbonara with a carafe of local wine. Both just right. It was peaceful and shady with good service and a great value menu.

Despite being outside looking at the street, surrounded by a sea of plastic tables/chairs, screaming/running kids and cigarette/scooter fumes, I stayed to see where the locals eat. Obviously, they live in a very small area, jam packed with tourists so chaos is not a problem. Ok, I got past the chaos, I was there for 2 weeks so I had... More

Head past the hustle and bustle of the beachfront strip into the back of the Amalfi laneways for some shade and peace away from the busloads of tourists. This small tratt was a welcome relief with a satisfying lunch menu that was also great value. We enjoyed Tuna and Tomato Bruschetta, a House salad with artichokes and a Carbonara with... More

We were in Amalfi for 3 days after touring Positano and Ravello - we had eaten extremely well at top end restaurants, but wanted to find somewhere with a truly authentic feel and flavour. This restaurant had been recommended highly by TripAdvisor so we thought we would give it a go for an evening meal. This place is a Fish... More

We were totally surprised (in a good way) by this simple trattoria. To be quiet honest we didn't expect much but the tuna pizza and the salad were amazing! Great taste and good size. My fiancée and his father ordered the full menu (only 20 euros) that offers an appetizer, a pasta, a fish (or meat, your choice) and a... More

Travelling from Venice, to Rome and then Amalfi we were pretty disappointed in the food that we had encountered in Italy, not what we had expected. This little restaurant on the edge of the square in Amalfi village really delivered though. The food was really, really good, genuinely the best meal that we had in all of Italy during the... More

All trip along the Amalfi coast, we had been a little disappointed with the food offering. So when we found the restaurant, on the left at the end of the main street, just before the small clock tower, we decided the quality of the food might make up for the less glamorous look of the place - even though there... We ate at this restaurant several times. Each visit we tried something different and enjoyed our food every time. This restaurant goes beyond the food. Its the people. They are awesome. Franco, one of the chefs and owner, is awesome. He is such a sweet, kind person. One night we were starving but had waited until late (about 10/1030pm) to... More
