Eat like a local in Amalfi.

We ate here all three nights of our stay in Amalfi, good honest Italian food and wine at very reasonable prices, worth the pleasant walk up the hill away from the tourist hordes. Family run pizzeria, friendly service and most importantly, you are surrounded by local people.

This place seems like the place to go for local families. Service was excellent, spoke English, food was to die for! It is worth the walk up from the tourist areas. Google maps has the wrong position as its closer than shown. The clam pasta with mushrooms and tomatoes is perfecto

Based on the other reviews we must have ordered the wrong food. We went here based on an recommendation form a guide at the paper museum. The service, wine, and bread were excellent. Almost all locals and priced very reasonable. The grilled veggies were good also. Wife ordered risotto and I ordered gnocchi. Both tasted like they came out of... More

We staid in Amalfi for 8 days, and in all this time the best restaurant that we liked was Il Mulino. Very good service, very delicious meals, very cozy. in a very quiet environment. A big like for them.

Went here after recommendation from Italian pizza restaurant owner in Highgate, London. So pleased we did, good food at reasonable prices just a few steps away from the hustle & bustle of Amalfi centre. Friendly service & fantastic, large pizzas.

We found this place quite by chance as we were making our way up the hill out of the hubbub of Amalfi and away from the hamburger and chips outlets. We heard another couple asking for directions and followed them up to Il Mulino. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a pleasant table in an airy restaurant with a... More

Great simple food, quick service and out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the streets, follow road to the paper mill and you will find it. A real gem.

This is the best little place to eat in Amalfi we experienced. We got told about it from travelers that regularly come to Amalfi. Most of the restaurants in and around the square aren't good and over priced. This place is quiet and family run with great food and service. Highly recommend it. We'll be back next time :-)

Calzone and artichoke pizza plus 1/2 litre of house wine. House wine was good. Calzone was molto bene! The only reason for the 4 not 5 was mozarella wasn't as high a quality as in other parts of italia! Excellent price for amalfi!!
