Wow!!

We stumbled upon this little eatery as we headed up in the 'Valle Delle Ferriere' from the Almalfi Port. It was slightly away from the lively town but I can honestly say - it's worth the walk! We ordered some very simple food - Caprese, gnocchi and my wife had a pizza. Very quick service - nothing... read more

I come to Amalfi every year with my family and we spend nearly every night there. It's just a few minuets walk up from the main town. Every time I go there I get something different and I always finish I meal full and amazed by the beautiful taste! The waiters are very nice and polite and speak fantastic English.... More

A little way out from the centre of Amalfi is Il Mulino. Classic Italian food is served here and the results are delicious! Big flavours and excellent value makes this restaurant a winner.

The place is just a few minutes from Amalfi centre, the waiter is kind and dishes are so good, maybe for my tastes is used too much garlic. I waited 30 mins to have my dishes but it's worth! Medium-Cheap prices for the area ( 2 first course, 1 wine and etc 30/35 euro) Nice place and people

Situated a small walk from the main square. This family run restaurant offers excellent traditional home cooked for a very reasonable price. Two mains, a side and half a litre of wine for 40 euros. If you feel tired of some of the tourist trap restaurants in the main square and are happy to dine somewhere casual (i.e. no 5... More

A family run restaurant that doesn't come any better. This is Italian dining and all it represents in one tasty bundle. Like most things along the Almafi coast, you are rewarded by putting in that little extra effort. By walking for 10 minutes in a straight line from the Duomo, away from the crowds and up a slight gradient into... More

Make your way up the Main Street, past the shops and into the neighborhood for this great little restaurant. The food is delicious and a great value. The service is prompt and considerate. We went twice and would have gone all four nights we were in Amalfi if we would have known about it.

This family run restaurant serves delicious food. The Staff is friendly, the portions are perfect, and the price is much more reasonable than the restaurants down in the tourist area. Its a little bit further to walk to but much more quiet and certainly yummy!

A repeat visit to Il Mulino for the Calzone. OMG - off the chart and all washed down with Morretti beer. A family run Pizzeria off the tourist track. Well worth the walk 'up the hill'. The chap serving remembered us from last year (Forza Napoli !). We will come back and see you again. We love Il Mulino !... More

Up the main street near the paper factory museum is a little, local, outdoor/indoor trattoria run by a local family that was nothing short of heavenly. We ate at many, many places in Italy and this little, local spot was as good as anywhere and the BEST LUNCH we had in the entire two weeks. The salads, the mozzarella, the... More
