Best restaurant in Amalfi and beyond. Simply a must!

A family run restaurant that doesn't come any better. This is Italian dining and all it represents in one tasty bundle. Like most things along the Almafi coast, you are rewarded by putting in that little extra effort. By walking for 10 minutes in a straight line from the Duomo, away from the crowds... read more

Make your way up the Main Street, past the shops and into the neighborhood for this great little restaurant. The food is delicious and a great value. The service is prompt and considerate. We went twice and would have gone all four nights we were in Amalfi if we would have known about it.

This family run restaurant serves delicious food. The Staff is friendly, the portions are perfect, and the price is much more reasonable than the restaurants down in the tourist area. Its a little bit further to walk to but much more quiet and certainly yummy!

A repeat visit to Il Mulino for the Calzone. OMG - off the chart and all washed down with Morretti beer. A family run Pizzeria off the tourist track. Well worth the walk 'up the hill'. The chap serving remembered us from last year (Forza Napoli !). We will come back and see you again. We love Il Mulino !... More

Up the main street near the paper factory museum is a little, local, outdoor/indoor trattoria run by a local family that was nothing short of heavenly. We ate at many, many places in Italy and this little, local spot was as good as anywhere and the BEST LUNCH we had in the entire two weeks. The salads, the mozzarella, the... More

The place is at the end of the central street in Amalfi in front of the paper museum. Everything is made from scratch, fresh and right there in front of your eyes if you decided to go to the kitchen. Just go and feel the real Italian flavor.!

The vongole spaghetti was spectacular, good honest food and the owner and her son were just gorgeous. The sort of place the locals go to, you can't get better than that in Italy! Thank you Orlanda and Vincenzo!

We stumbled upon this restaurant because we had walked to the end of the road and didn't feel like walking all the way back to the beach to eat. Waiters were attentive and very nice; the food was very good (I had caprese salad and pasta with tomato sauce), and the portions were gigantic. Everything we ate tested fresh. Nice... More

Don't know why the deluge of tourist stay in the centre of the village... 10 min. walk and we are alone strolling the streets. We stopped there and it was a good choice. Saw a lot of locals picking up their pizza at this restaurant. We were the only tourists in the outside terrace.
