Title says it all. Some parts of our groups meal was passable but some was awful. Salty food, heavy pasta and wet sponge passed off as tiramisu.

were there with couple of friends March 2014. It was the worst place we had visited in Amalfi. Very slow service, very cold inside, food didn't worth its price

Food is ok! this place is not warm and friendly. I would rate the food as average in view of so many good meals we had. This is a recommended tourist place but it is overated.. go to DA MARIA FOR BEST EXPERIENCE

There's a little restaurant in Amalfi, cheap and absolutely delicious. Its name is Teatro. Go, go, go !!! And forget all the others, even if they are bigger or more beautifull. It's really the best you can taste. I taste each other in Amalfi town for two weeks and it is really the Best one.

This family-run restaurant, slightly removed from the more touristy spots near the Duomo, offers authentic and delicious food at reasonable prices. If you like seafood risotto, try it here. It's great. We have been coming to Il Teatro for years, and it never disappoints.

This trattoria is off the main tourist track and so much better for that! The building used to tbe a children's theatre and is in a back street off the main drag. It offers genuine Italian food at a reasonable price in a friendly and intimate atmosphere.

I highly recommend the Fisherman's risotto, best dish ever eaten. Service was very good, kind family atmosphere and quite good prices. Hope to go there once again!

don't go there - very bad service, mediocre food. I went there because other Amalfi restaurants were either closed or did not have pezzogna fish on that sunday anymore. They did. But what a mistake to walk in. Overaall I was treated very unwelcomed. No italian hospitality whatsoever. Even If I left almost 50 EUR bill per one person I... More

This was my favourite restaurant in Amalfi. Went based on Trip advisor recommendations, found it to be a good bit cheaper than any other restaurant in Amalfi, and the food more delicious. It's also a really lovely restaurant, it's kind of like sitting in someone's house, cosy and decorative and homely. Spinach ravioli was beautiful, veal was delicious. Went back... More

Tucked away up stairs leading of the main street in Amalfi town, this quaintly rustic restaurant is a great place to eat for those who need to be economic in expensive Italy. With house wine at €6 for 1/2 litre, caprese salad for €5 and a mixed fried fish dish for €12 as a shared lunch is just right. Cover... More
