original lemon pasta!

My husband had a very original dish - lemon pasta! It was delicious and not too citrusy. I had creamy carbonara - my favourite in Italy!

We arrived at 2pm in Amalfi after more than one and half hours driving by bus from Sorrento. We went directly to this restaurant which was looked great from outside and some people left after having their lunch. When we came inside the restaurant, some tables were not cleaned yet.One of the waiters(only 2 of them) cleaned 1 table for us.After 10minutes... Our lunch was OK. This restaurant seemed more "touristy" than others we have gone to along the Amalfi coast. The dessert was the best - Rumba Cake. Also liked the free appetizer. Our main meals were just OK.

We were lucky to have just the last table, as this restaurant was fully booked for lunch. After our lunch, we fully understand why: excellent seafood, prepared to the perfection, with great local wine!

We ate here in October 2013. We were staying in Positano but caught the bus to Amalfi for dinner and a look around this gorgeous town. The owners provided us with complimentary nibbles and an aperitif. We ate beautiful fresh seafood and delicious desserts. Suggest you try the rum baba with fresh fruit and lemon cream sauce! We walked back... More

We tried the Pacheri out here and it was one of the best we ever had awesome food ; very nice, quick service warm and welcoming staff. The only downside is the ambience was not that great but full marks for the quality of food you get here.

We stumbled across Il Tari as we strolled across Amalfi looking for a place to lunch. Across the Amalfi coast, good seafood restaurants are common. Il Tari still managed to stand out. The grilled scampi and the regional paccheri pasta were delicious.

Our hotel concierge recommended this place and told us to say he sent us. We did. They are friends. Several parties walked in as they opened. When we asked They said sit anywhere. They took care of everyone else in the place and even provided the drinks before coming to our table (after we saw some discussion and pointing.) My... More

Picked restaurant for lunch based on Frommer review and it did not disappoint. Very reasonable compared to others in Amalfi. I had pasta with eggplant and cheese in tomato cream sauce and my husband had pasta arribatta with brandy cream sauce. Both pastas and half bottle of wine were very good. Service was good.
