We were lucky to have just the last table, as this restaurant was fully booked for lunch. After our lunch, we fully understand why: excellent seafood, prepared to the perfection, with great local wine!

We ate here in October 2013. We were staying in Positano but caught the bus to Amalfi for dinner and a look around this gorgeous town. The owners provided us with complimentary nibbles and an aperitif. We ate beautiful fresh seafood and delicious desserts. Suggest you try the rum baba with fresh fruit and lemon cream sauce! We walked back... More

We tried the Pacheri out here and it was one of the best we ever had awesome food ; very nice, quick service warm and welcoming staff. The only downside is the ambience was not that great but full marks for the quality of food you get here.

We stumbled across Il Tari as we strolled across Amalfi looking for a place to lunch. Across the Amalfi coast, good seafood restaurants are common. Il Tari still managed to stand out. The grilled scampi and the regional paccheri pasta were delicious.

Our hotel concierge recommended this place and told us to say he sent us. We did. They are friends. Several parties walked in as they opened. When we asked They said sit anywhere. They took care of everyone else in the place and even provided the drinks before coming to our table (after we saw some discussion and pointing.) My... More

Picked restaurant for lunch based on Frommer review and it did not disappoint. Very reasonable compared to others in Amalfi. I had pasta with eggplant and cheese in tomato cream sauce and my husband had pasta arribatta with brandy cream sauce. Both pastas and half bottle of wine were very good. Service was good.

We walked around Amalfi on a cool Wednesday night to find a decent restaurant choice after our first option was closed. This one was busy and the menu seemed decent, so we went in. Overall, it was ok. The local wine suggestion was solid and the primi pasta was really good. That said, they did forget to mention that salad... More

We had dinner two days in a row in October 2014. We loved the food and a very good value. First night, I had the local pasta with mixed seafood including mussels, shrimp, clams etc with wine sauce. I loved it. The second night I had the local sea bass baked with butter sauce. It was perfect. My husband had... More

I liked the fixed price menu, the spaghetti with clams and mussels was great , sow as the fried fish with a sale just right . The tiny desert was a great end to the meal .The wine was reasonable and overall one of the better places I ate at.However the service was patchy , I refused to sit at... More
