We enjoyed a delightful Christmas Day feast at this lovely restaurant, perched above the town of Amalfi, with a stunning view of the Mediterranean. Service was cheerful, wines were excellent. We opted for the day’s special multi-course menu, and every dish was better than the last, although the signature spaghetti in baking parchment paper was the most memorable dish in... More

We are avid travellers and have never been to the same restaurant twice whilst on holiday. Until we found this place. Family run, high quality ingredients from their garden, a passion for their menu and service that others should learn from. We run an Italian deli in the UK, so know a fair amount about Italian food. I would not... More

We were riding with our driver down the Amalfi Coast from Positano to Sorento and asked him to pick the best local restaurant available for lunch. Brother did choose a winner! Da Ciccio Tratoria sits high above the sea on the steep Amalfi coast, overlooking Sophia Loren's villa. Not to be over dramatic, but my first sensation upon entering the... More

Perched high on a cliff edge just north of the town of Amalfi, this family-run trattoria sources much of their produce from the family farm in Scala, high above the coast that provides their daily seafood. Spaghetti with tiny vongole veraci and olives cooked ‘in cartoccio’ and served tableside is worth it for the theatre of the service alone. Fish... More

Da Ciccio's is a truly wonderful dining experience! The level of service, attention and quality of food that this family run Restaurant offers is unbelievable! If you are visiting Amalfi, do not miss out on an evening meal here! Ciccio's has been established since the early 70's and is run by Papa Ciccio and his four sons, who all work in... More

We were brought here by our Tours of Sorrento guide, Sergio. The restaurant had amazing views and the owner was magnificent! He allowed me to taste several wines to pair with my meal and gave me great tips on which one to choose to provide a certain flavor to the food. The house specialty spaghetti was truly THE BEST I... Perfect location with a view to die for. Service was impeccable, so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of their restaurants food and wines. The food was magnificent as was the recommended wine. We will go back and recommend you try it too.
