Good Restaurant in Amalfi Italy

Nothing was too much trouble for the owners of this family restaurant. Originally a resting place and watering hole for travellers and their horses, Ciccio's is now an elegant, light and airy building, perched on the hillside, overlooking the Mediterranean, close to Amalfi. The restaurant has been in the family for three generations and they pride themselves on offering local... More

All was nice food, welcome drink, service. Would definitely recommend! We shared several meals all of them were delicious. Nice wine selection, fantastic view from the terrace. We stayed in the hotel just opposite and saw a lot of visitors enjoying the meal every evening. Very competent staff they described meals and gave very good recommendations - perfetto!

From the road outside you might wonder if you have the right place but cross the slightly Heath-Robinson bridge into the restaurant and enter a world of attentive waiters, white linen and pale cream leather chairs. The Italians are rightly acclaimed for their design and this restaurant doesn't disappoint on that score, not showy, just sophisticated and understated. The food... More

Located on the coastal road just north of Amalfi, this restaurant is owned and operated by brothers who man the kitchen as well as serve food and wine. The dining there was amongst the best we experienced in Italy. The view of the Mediterranean Sea and the town of Amalfi from the restaurant's cliff location is beautiful. The service was... More

This is worth a visit and the price but is not the absolute best. It overlooks the sea (though we were there at night and couldn't appreciate it), the service is classy and the food is very creative and almost excellent. They do try hard and it was definitely an enjoyable experience. Excellent in many respects but food merits a... More

My husband and I were taken here by our car service driver from Silver Star Tours, Massimo for our anniversary and it was one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. It is the service of this restaurant that really sets it apart. They made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant and treated us... More

My wife and I recently spent two weeks in Italy on our honeymoon and this was by far our favorite restaurant! Great service and great food. The waiters were very accommodating, attentive, and friendly and spoke great English. The food was delicious and fare priced. It is a fine dining experience. This is how wonderful the food was: I hate... More

We had a truly superb lunch at this trattoria. We had passed it a few times and on our last day succumbed to the fellow waving us in from the main road to put our car in the very convenient car park attached to the restaurant. He recommended their special dish, spaghetti al cartocchio -- (pasta cooked with clams and... More
