Truly the best meal I enjoyed on the Amalfi Coast. Exceptional service by a well groomed team, food that was creative, fresh and most divine. Italian food at it's best. I had a sampling of Percorini cheese to finish the wonderful meal, created and served by the owner herself who took pleasure explaining the various choices.

Eolo is a restaurant for a special occasion, which can just be a celebration of being on vacation in Amalfi. The restaurant is located at the edge of town offering amazing views of the harbor and city. The food is generally very good (although not everything to our tastes), but extremely expensive; so if you are a small party I... More

My wife and I went here during our honeymoon and it was by far the most perfect meal during our stay in Amalfi. Book early to reserve a table with a view across the bay as the night sets in as the view adds to the romantic mood (Only three in direct view). Food was amazing and staff very pleasant... More

Book for dinner in advance to get a table with a view and you won't be disappointed! The food was tasty and well-presented with the gnocchi a highlight. Great service and wine recommendations too.

We loved the whole experience, every course of our dinner, attentive staff, great wine, the view...for us it was one of the best dinner of our holiday through Italy. I agree it's expensive place, for a dinner for two you should prepare around 100€ +, but to be honest all of the Amalfi cost is incredibly expensive... So I would... More

Like most of the other reviewers here I saw this as No1 on TA in Amalfi and made a mental note of it. We walked into town on our first evening and this was one of the first places I saw and we decided to give it a go - I should have realised the level of dining experience when... More

Expected this restaurant to be excellent given its #1 rating, but we were very disappointed. Ordered 4 courses and although presented well, they all lacked flavour. Total with wine was 120 Euro. 39 Euro for what was really just some battered seafood (photo taken) is ridiculous. Should have walked out when we saw no locals and heard only British accents.... More

If you want to eat here, you will need a reservation. Although, you can do what we did and called the day of...we ended up getting a table for 10pm. There wasn't much of a view because it was dark and I think we would have preferred to have been there before sunset. The food was great. The gnocchi in... More

When you want (and claim) to be number one in town … please, play the game …don't play with the credulity of tourists… don't become a "tourist's trap"…. To play the game ( and win) is to cook honestly with fresh products ( and sometimes with products !! ) … Really very expensive experience for the quality of the products... More

What can I say, we booked this restaurant after reading the reviews here and what a great choice we made. The service, food and wine were all excellent!! We booked a table on the balcony and watched the sun going down over Amalfi . Stunning views and a lovely evening bringing an end to a wonderful holiday.
