We loved this restaurant. We went in the evening and found the service and food to be very good. We sat outside with a view down to the street and watched the world go by as we ate a lovely meal. A little pricey but worth it. Would recommend.

Wow...what a wonderful experience we had at Da Gemma in Amalfi. I had seen many good reviews including Michelin and they truly lived up to the raves and more. We have been to Italy every year for the past 25 years and our meal ranked in our top 10 favourites. First of all, we had a lovely table on the... More

We were walking the streets of Amalfi looking for something above average and we chanced to look up at the elevated terrace of Da Gemma. We were rewarded with a marvelous meal, served professionally and leisurely, with plenty of chance to watch the people in the street come and go about their business. It was a wonderful investment of time... More

We were looking for a good place for lunch in Amalfi and ended up on the lovely terrace of this gastronomic restaurant. And we ended up having one of the best lunch we had in the whole week. The cook is great and selects some very fresh and tasty ingredients. One of the specials of the day was a plate... More

I had mixed feelings about Da Gemma. The atmosphere is lovely, especially is you are fortunate to snag one of the outdoor tables overlooking the piazza. The service was spotty - we were left for long periods of time with no followup. The food was very good, but I probably would have expected more given the prices. If you are... More

By far the best so far. Priced fair and presented so well. This place is made for evening food. Out. Of. This. World.

This restaurant is the best I've eaten at in Amalfi. A must go for anyone wanting a nice romantic atmosphere with insanely good food. Staff are friendly and very nice!

Was told that this was the best restaurant in the area, frequented by A-listers on occasion; for this reason alone I was dubious as to whether I would like it - I don't do fine dining, I just like good honest food. To say that I was surprised would be an understatement. Admittedly I wasn't bowled over by the menu... More
