Dined here for lunch last week. Great spot on the terrace looking over the street and watching people go past. Amazing lemon risotto dish - one of the best I've ever eaten.

We liked the outdoor setting, the menu, the food which was excellent and the service. There were also very nice touches and the ambience was good.

We went for dinner here by chance and luckily managed to get a table on the terrace without booking ahead. We realised how lucky we were when they began turning couple after couple away for not having reservations! I had Nonna's famous Paccheri pasta Genovese - and it was delicious! It tasted very authentically Italian, so fresh, with delicious flavours.... More

Boyfriend and I are visiting the Amalfi area and always look for great places to eat. So far (day 2) we have found what are probably the worst and one of the best. If you are interested please see my other reviews of local eateries. We loved Da Gemma. We reserved a table on the terrace and were glad because... More

When we told our wedding planners that the only criteria for our wedding dinner was that it be the best food in Amalfi they categorically agreed that we should choose Da Gemma and we were not disappointed. We arrived on Sunday night to a pre-wedding tasting and were greeted with special attention that made us feel truly welcome. We had... More

32 Euros for a tasteless "special" fish of the day! The staff appear to of had their personalities removed to work here (smile guys!). I must apologise to anyone in the restaurant when I laughed out loud and broke the deadly silence of people enjoying themselves... Don't waste your money, get a10 euro pizza and a beer!

The lemon risotto with shrimp was so creamy and delicious I still dream of it... The fish was the freshest I have eaten.

Really disappointing after recommendations. Service appalling - they did not welcome 3 women eating 'alone' and ignored us most of the evening .We had finally to physically get up and go to the door to get our bill. Food ranged from OK to spit-outable. (really! it was burnt). Given the choice of restaurants in Amalfi - find another!
