It was chilly in the restaurant. Very clean. Waiter recommended Snapper. It tasted chewy. Bread was good but we hadn't ordered it. We were charged for it!! Regretted going there. Found Miramlfi hotel restaurant was better and cheaper with excellent views of Amalfi harbour.

After traveling to Florence, Rome and Amalfi my wife and I finally found a restaurant we both adored. We ate on the rooftop patio overlooking the piazza below and to add to the view, the service was awesome. We ordered a bottle of white wine from the area which was superb. Everything we were served was made to perfection and... More

My wife and I had a great lunch while visiting Amalfi. We started with the grilled octopus with dried tomato. For main course we selected 2 pasta dishes: 1. Pasta filled with burrata cheese and black truffle 2. Large tube pasta with onion and meat sauce braised for several hours. Both were nothing but prefect. Service was perfect as well.... More

Beautiful dining room, great service, and amazing food! I wish I had more time in Amalfi so I could go back! The dining room was light and elegant and the servers were very friendly and processional. They served one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Homemade paccheri pasta, filled with burrata cheese, topped with cherry tomatoes, snails,... More

My wife and I just ate lunch here earlier today. We never saw it coming. We were expecting some old school traditional Italian cooking but were blown away by the spohistication of the entire experience- from the setting, the service, and the wine list. But the real hero was definitely the food. What a meal. We cannot comprehend how this... More

We had a lovely time at Da Gemma. The food was really home made (raviolis and tomato sauce) , fine tasting...and beautiful in the plate! In between the dishes they came to offer us some free appetiser or "before dessert" fresh lemon pannacota. The waiters were very kind and helpful. Yes it is more expensive than the restaurants in the... More

There's a platter of crudos which was some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. Pasta was also awesome. Suggest drinking local wines.

One of the best food I've had in my life. I know its not the finest thing to say, but literally, we left the restaurant extremely full, as we couldn't stop eating. As antipasti we had a grilled octopus with potato sauce and dried tomatoes (it was perfect!), I had an amalfitan lemon risotto with prawns as first course, which... More

We were ambling up some steps beginning to think about lunch when we spitted this little gem. We hadn't even noticed it from the main street. It hadn't yet actually opened although the staff were lively enough to seat and serve us. The food was beautiful and we had a particularly good bottle of white! We spent two hours there... More
