Delicious Paella Valenciana,

The Paella Valenciana was delicious, but we all found the seafood paella a little too "fishy" tasting. I wouldn't accuse the seafood of not being fresh, but the fish flavor was quite strong. We ended up eating twice in a 3 day period in this wonderful restaurant because we really wanted to try their paella and therefor we needed a reservation. They had a limited menu, but we tried several dishes and they were all very nice. The waitress was very friendly and gave us a good recommendation on the wine to accompany... More

We went to Rest Navarro on recommendation from the hotel we were staying at (Hotel Zenit) Very welcoming and warm staff and atmosphere. Everything we ate was prepared and cooked to perfection. After eating here just once we are not afraid of recommend it.

While passing by Valencia on our cruise, I decided to take my mom to one of the top ranked restaurants in the city as a surprise for her birthday. I chose this place based on TA reviews and I'm happy to say that it lived up to our expectations. I had to email the restaurant in advance to reserve our... More

A very clean restaurant, beautifully laid tables, spotless waiters doing their best to answer all sorts of questions BUT the food was gorgeous. We were a group of 8 and we had different dishes. Everyone was pleased with what they got. The fish dishes were excellent, the lamb was great, the desserts were mouth-watering. And everything for a price we... More

We booked for Sunday lunch & pre-ordered the seafood paella. Easy to find after a stroll around, we arrived around 2.30pm. Every table was either occupied or reserved. Very friendly welcome & shown to a nice table for 2 downstairs near the stairway. We ordered drinks & starters before the paella. The food was delicious. I'm sure the paella could... More

We sought out Navarros for the traditional paella; rabbit and snails with artichoke and beans. This paella takes an hour to make (while you wait), perhaps it would be better to order in advance if possible, if you simply do not have the time. We gladly waited, filling ourselves with a superb salad of greens, avocado, brie, walnuts, capers, hard cheeses... More

It's the kind of place you visit for its traditional food, not the ambience, music or decoration. Last Sunday 100% of people were natives and that says a lot for its food. Real Valencian traditional cuisine the way our grandmothers used to do it, that is their secret!

I'm surprised the restaurant is rated as highly as it is. It's seems a little soulless- bright lighting, no ambiance. However, everyone who works there is very nice and seems happy to be there, which gives a good vibe. The gazpacho was excellent and nicely presented. The fish was overlooked and dry. But we liked the freshly cooked chips. Good... More
