We are foodies. We read about gastronomy, we watch cooking shows, we try to sample Michelin-starred restaurants around the world... We love good food. Since our arrival in Valencia 3 months ago, we've sampled quite a few places, and have been pleasantly impressed with many places. But Seu Xerea tops it all. Their tasting menu was an absolute delight- it... More

Chef Steve knows what he is doing at this gourmet restaurant. It might be more expensive than other local restaurants in Valencia, but we'd pay double at home. They suggested ribera white wine and we loved it. Book on line as popular with locals also.

We ate at Seu Xerea on 31 December for the special New Year's Eve dinner. We made the booking by email. Fernando was very helpful on email, and greeted us when we arrived. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Stephen Andersen (the owner) introduced himself to us, and later I talked to the kitchen staff. The dishes at... More

Thank you very much for your kind appraisal of the Seu Xerea. It was a pleasure to meet a fellow Welshman in Valencia! I'm really glad you enjoyed our New Year's Eve Menu. I know all the staff worked really hard to ensure the dinner was a success, and it's enormously satisfying for us all that that those who came... More

I'm going to be quite honest from the get go, this is one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant. I may be a rather mid-range foodie, often expecting to spend a maximum of €30 on a meal, but I feel like coming to Seu Xerea, quite simply, stepped it up to the next level without going outside... We are here on Sat 1st Nov. our hotel recommended the restaurant and we were not disappointed. We had the tapas sharing menu which also allows for an individual main course and dessert. With water and a very nice bottle of rueda Verdejo our bill came to just over 90€ ! Fantastic value!! Highlights of the meal for us were... More

Took TA advice and went to this restaurant for lunch on a Tuesday in October. We were not disappointed. As three sisters who rarely dine together we started with a glass of cava, which was delightful, clean taste, full of flavour. We chose the set 19e lunch. The amuse bouche of pumpkin soup with micro coriander and a swirl of... More

Dinner here this past Tuesday night was among the top two meals we had in Valencia, where (as in our home in Manhattan) there is no shortage of restaurants. Food, service, atmosphere: all perfectly executed.
