Come and savour mediterranean fusion food in this centrally located and highly recommended restaurant in Valencia's historical Barrio del Carmen. Just a few metres from the cathedral square, this restaurant is a relaxing retreat after a morning of sightseeing. Stephen Anderson heads the friendly English speaking team. Eat alfresco or in the modern, comfortable, designer interior. The daily lunchtime menu is excellent value for money and the a la carte is an opportunity to try the gastronomic offer of one of Valencia's best fine dining restaurants.

Seu Xerea is a treasure of a restaurant! It is placed in a beautiful quiet side street in the historic section, just behind Plaza de la Virgen. All dishes are wonderful and elegantly served. A great combination of local cuisine, but with a little twist that reflects that life exists outside Europe and can contribute positively to the local cuisine. A lovely small restaurant with some pleasant outdoor tables and a modern design interior for the other tables. Excelellent design of menu choice, tapas plus a few choices of a la carte main dishes... Really terrific food is served in this comfortable restaurant with a nice ambience. The menu is a fusion of classic Spanish ingredients with a lighter touch, clean straightforward flavors and whimsical presentations. Our meal was wonderful and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. A fine dining experience. They make a good Agua de Valencia here as well.

Excellent food served in a nice ambience. Local wine complemented the food nicely and they went out of their way to ensure the vegetarian options were many and varied.

We had a fantastic dinner last night at Seu Xerea. We went a la carte and every course was simply superb. The staff were very welcoming. Thankfully they were able to speak English. We took their recommendations on local wine to go with each course and could not have been happier. The Orange flavoured desert wine was the highlight. Whilst... More

Great tapas dishes, not Spanish but a great international flavour. Good wines too! Friendly staff and a stylish decor. The oysters with gin fizz are great! Option of a la carte menu or tasting meals with or without matching wines.

Beautiful little restaurant at a great location, with a very friendly staff that also speaks English. Menu in Spanish and English. Food presented and served was great. However, the prices are a bit stiff. But worth it on special occasions. We will have this on our list to return to.

The food here is first class. I had 2 fresh monster Valencian oysters with Gin fizz and a prawn (langoustine) satay for starters and my wife had the seafood ceviche. Both shared and marvellous. We both had the suckling pig . Very tender and moist. Finished off with a desert concoction with passion fruit. Very light tasty and cleansing. I... More

We had the set tasting menu dinner; we were told there was no choice, but any allergies could be allowed for. We don't have any, so that was not a problem. There were about 4 small starters followed by larger portions of fish then meat, then the desert. The fish was particularly good. It was all of very high quality... More

I booked Seu Xerea for lunch as a birthday treat for my boyfriend based on the Tripadvisor reviews. It's a gorgeous place located on a side street by the Plaza de la Virgin. We had the menu of the day accompanied by a couple of glasses of a local red wine. Could not fault the food or service and at... More
