Come and savour mediterranean fusion food in this centrally located and highly recommended restaurant in Valencia's historical Barrio del Carmen. Just a few metres from the cathedral square, this restaurant is a relaxing retreat after a morning of sightseeing. Stephen Anderson heads the friendly English speaking team. Eat alfresco or in the modern, comfortable, designer interior. The daily lunchtime menu is excellent value for money and the a la carte is an opportunity to try the gastronomic offer of one of Valencia's best fine dining restaurants.

Traditional Spanish with a Modern touch

The menu could be a little bit bigger but there's something for everyone. Nice bread with olive oil so tasty we had to buy some next day! The whole Family enjoyed the dishes and the kids loved the desserts. If you're a red wine lover, than go by the San Vicente, it is amazing!!!

Without doubt the best meal we ate during our 10 day visit to Spain. The menu lists an array of dishes that tempt your palate and make you wish you could try them all. There is a tasting menu, however, we decided to go al la carte with three courses each (2 adults an an 11 year old (who later... More

Stupendous on all counts. Decor service, wine and food. Splash out and have the menu Degustacion with its choice of one glass of wine per course. Total bill for two was 150 euros. Not cheap but worth every Euro. Superb experience.

This was the best restaurant we ate in during our stay un Valencia. We had booked which you needed to as it was busy. The staff were so lovely and great fun as well as being professional. They explained everything to us if needed and were happy to recommend certain dishes to us.Excepional food which we thought was reasonably priced... More

I can only agree with most of the reviews - excellent food and service. Very reasonable price for true fine-dining quality too. We went a la carte rather than the tasting menu and pleased we did - 6 courses would be pretty filling as the food is very rich. One note of caution - we tried to book online via... More

Really enjoyed the tasting menu with matched wines. Service was excellent: attentive and friendly. Interesting and innovative food. It was quiet as we went at opening time mid week but got busier as it got later so if you prefer a busier atmosphere go later.

We had a very different experience to that of the reviewer below. In fact, the polar opposite and on the same day. The food, whilst a fixed menu, was fabulous and a real Spanish/Asian fusion experience. My wife´s favourite was the poached egg surprise dish and mine the stuff artichoke. The service was attentive, but not over bearing and in... More

Perhaps we went on the wrong night (14 February) as we found the food nice, but not exceptional. What was striking was the rather cool service from start to finish. The food was brought with undue haste - the kir royale at the same time as the amuse bouche and olives. Insufficient time to enjoy anything . The main course... More

Thank you for your comments. I am very sorry that your visit to the Seu Xerea did not live up to your expectations. I agree very much with your final comment: the difference very often between a good restaurant and an indifferent one is in the detail. For whatever reason (and I confess that for family reasons I could not... More

This is one of my highlight restaurants in my 20 months of living in Europe (and many more years visiting) and such a fantastic surprise. We actually wanted to eat at our hotel but the restaurant was full so they recommended Seu Xerea. Good advice. We chose the 7 course tasting menu for €49 per person, plus wine, an incredibly...
