I've been there a couple of times with my family and always turned out to be great. The paella is delicious and also the wine and desserts. I recommend to order "arroz abanda", it is a paella with peeled seafood (perfect for lazy people like me) and alioli sauce. The location is good, it is near the seaside. It is... More

We'd read about this place but didn't have time to go on a previous trip to Valencia. It was top of our list on a return visit. We booked a table for lunch so we could eat on the terrace. The setting is amazing - beautiful views and a sense of history in the restaurant. Sadly the experience didn't live... More

We went here because of its association with Hemingway. We hadn't booked, but were allocated a table with a direct view of the beach which was lovely. The restaurant filled up very quickly and I would advise booking if you definitely want to eat here - although there are lots of other restaurants to choose from. We found the atmosphere... More

After multiple disappointments tasting Paella at an assortment of touted restaurants in Valencia central, we decided to taxi out to the Marina to try the version at La Pepica. I pre-empted our visit by ordering Paella Negro, made with squid ink, ahead of our luncheon. The decor is old school Valencia in the cavernous space, but with a pleasant view... More

Many fresh seafoods too choose. Even pork plate are very tasty and good. Many wine selections with reasonable prices. All historical famous people like Hemingway were visited there and you can see old photos. The services are very professional, but friendly. To get there from the city centre, it needs to take a taxi around 20 mins or metro (5,7)... More

The food was good but the place is really noisy and you should not be in a hurry. 30minutes announced to be served but was more like 45minutes.

Look, paella is essentially a simple dish -- rice, some protein, a few veggies, saffron and other flavorings, boiled together and finished in an oven -- that not everyone gets right. La Pepica gets it right. Ours was the classic Valenciana version (there are half a dozen, maybe more), with chicken and chunks of rabbit, and it was wonderful. Restaurant... More
