This restaurant does not look like much from the outside but its long existence has a reason. The food is really great. The tasting menu is a little pricey but the options are very traditional Spanish and delicious. For large groups the Paella comes in an impressively large pan. Everything tasted great and it was a worthy experience.

We were in Valencia fro two days and as Valencia is famous for it's paella we wanted to try a good one. Looked good from the outside, well dressed waiters and linen napkins. The menu was varied and we decided on a sea food paella. A waiter came and we ordered some wine. Then another one appeared and we ordered... More

We cycled out from Valencia and read about this in the rough guide or lonely planet. Decided to do paella being in the home of paella. Restaurant staff very mixed from surly to helpful and receptive. One saw us weighing up where to put the bikes near the front promenade and gestured to fasten to the rails, which we appreciated... More

It's located at the beach. Very nice to sit outside and enjoy your diner, while experiencing the sunset! The paella's are really great (and what they are known for). The restaurant itself breathes history of the owners (by pictures).

Friendly waiters who were happy to help. We had the black paella made with squid ink. It was delicious. We had bread and garlic sauce to start. The garlic sauce is very strong! Tasty but don't get it if you're going on a date.

Great spot on a strip by the beach. But that's it.......absolutely packed outside with people waiting. The staff were good at getting us a table outside, the starters were good razor clams Lovely. But the main event was Terrible, the famous Paella was awful. No flavour, hard rice and very poor quality produce. Avoid and choose one of the others... More

Based on the fact that they are a family business and are doing the same thing every day, year after year doesn't mean the paella at Pepica is THE place to have a good paella at the beach. L'Estimat and Gabbana Beach are better and far more worth the price and service. La Pepica is a noisy, huge restaurant with... More

Great location by the beach, amazing views but definitely touristic. Our waiter was absolutely great. Paella Valenciana, extremely salty, so packed up 3/4 of it for the neighborhood cats ;) the waiter wanted to make up with another paella but I declined.......fed the cats and went for a walk on the beach instead. Saw a lot of tourists order Arroz... More

...but the restaurant has become a bit of a frozen icon rather than a 'must' experience. Having said that, it holds a prime spot on the massive Valencia beach and has fantastic views from the outside terrace. It started as a beach hut some 70 years ago and was frequented but many of the rich and famous over the decades... More

Our hotel staff recommended the restaurant and we had some nice food and the waiters were very friendly as well. The bill was a little heavy with 2 starters and a lobster paella for 100€ but overall it was a nice experience. Would recommend.
