An authentic tourist trap. Expensive, untasty food, not at all generous sangria. You have been warned

We to the El Generalife twice just to see if we had been unfortunate the First time. We ordered a salad starter and the main course lamb chops and fish, when our order eventually arrived the lamb chops were all fat we sent the these back and after 45 minutes I was ask if I wanted anything else. I said no... More

It took ages to get the food. Coincidentally it was ready at the moment I got eyecontact with the waiter. When the food arrived it was ok at best, however, it was not very much food, and I left the restaurant feeling hungry. In total I would not go here, it's not much more than tourist trap.

Poor, if any, service. Forgot our order. They really have no clue about how to treat either customers or food. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

We were not allowed to oreder until after waiting ten minutes. Food came after another 30. But worst, when we tried to pay, it was totally impossible.. We went to the counter, but two waiter turned the back at us, when we asked to pay, they turned and said we were badly behaving!! Incredible! Do not go to this restaurant... More

I give this restaurant one star for two reasons 1) TripAdvisor doesn't let me give it 0 and 2) the waiter was worth a star on his own for entertainment value. He gave us the usual spiel about the 'special offer' available only to us and to keep it hush-hush from his boss but somehow forgot to cover up the... More

We stopped in during our search for Paella in Valencia after our cruise ship tour and we were not disappointed. The appetizers and seafood paella from the set menu were very good. All the food was flavorful and seemed to be fresh. We had no problem with the service or the food or the wine - there are many options... More

After a long cab ride from cruise boat, we decided on this one, with out door seating. All we wanted was paella but waiter wanted us to have the SET piece lunch, which came with two starters. The starters ended up being better than the Paella, they were some Spanish salad, and a whole frying pan of bacon and eggs... More

My wife and I had our anniversary meal here as we had a very special night here two years before. We kept it simple and went for the seafood paella and bottle of Vallablanca. We found the staff very good and good banter too, overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We should have read your other reviews first! We came across this last night as the restaurant we had chosen didn't have outside eating. It is in a lovely location, that's all. There were four of us and the menu was not extensive. The waiter/owner tried to bully two of our party in to having things they didn't want; they... More
