Casa Montana is beautiful it is worth going for the setting alone. The service is also incredibly friendly. As to the food it serves a great variety of old-school tapas, of good quality but not extraordinary either. The kind of place that is good to experience once (especially if you're visiting as a tourist), but isn't amazing enough that you'd... More

Asked the hotel if they could recommend somewhere good for dinner. They suggested Casa Montaña and so we decided to try it. A little difficult to find but once there we were pleasantly surprised. Glad we made a booking through the hotel as the place was full and it was only a Monday night. Great selection of wines and a... More

After a long walk on a sunny Saturday in January, we ended up having lunch in this place. Excellent food, really innovative, made with the freshest ingredients! Wine of the house, Rioja Nonna was also a great discovery. Will definitely go back next time in the area.

You'll need google maps or something similar in order to find this place - it is out of the City Centre towards the port area in the middle of a largely residential area. We walked in the bar area and wondered if we were in the right place until we saw a gap behind the bar where people appeared to... More

Small and exclusive, get there early as the Spaniards queue outside to get in. Great wine and beautiful tapas. Well worth a visit.

Would never have known about this place if it wasn't for Tripadvisor. After finding it hidden away we were pleasantly surprised. In short the food and wine was fantastic and very reasonable and the atmosphere / decor was very welcoming. Please don't let the next comment put you off but don't expect a posh sit down meal as the place... More

Don't let the surrounding area fool you, this is a lovely little restaurant. After a couple of cervezas, during a walk through the area the words I would have used to describe the locale would have been "slightly murder-y", although it did have a kind of run-down charm. We did a Google search for the best tapas in Valencia, and... More

Great tapas and excellent wines. We went twice in 4 days for a late lunch and shared 7 dishes between 2 of us. Lovely ambience too and only a very short walk from the beach

Very charming place, specially after 9pm, when Valencians go out "tapeando". Top quality of food specialties and Spanish wines.

Doesn't matter where you are in Valencia its worth the trip. Firstly most point out that the surrounding area makes you think you are in the wrong location with residential flats all around and some derelict buildings. Don't worry just follow the map and it'll take you to Tapas to remember. Had about 10 dishes to share between two with... More
