Just a few minutes away from the tourist buzz

This restaurant is in a street where, as a tourist, you probably wouldn't not walk down. There are no big signs, no terrace with tables outside, etc. However, once you step in, you know you have made the right decision. The wine list is very nice. Tripadvisor positive reviews impressed me a lot before coming in and the touristic menu was very attractive(and cheap),but the quality of single dishes was extremely simple, almost poor. I mean that the ensemble of different plates is very appreciable but should be better presented. Moreover they brought me the entrecôte when i hadn't finished the starter yet,so it was cold. Btw... last day in Valencia we wanted to try real tapas, so we choose this restaurant based on Tripadvisor comments. everything to be confirmed: tapas menu was very good and also roasted lamb eaten by my daughter was perfect. not too much expensive, that's also good

Visited during the summer of 2014. The restaurant is a bit hidden away, but definitely worth searching for. The decor is great and the restaurant has a really genuine, authentic Spanish vibe - full of local people and dishes. Service was very good from a waiter who spoke perfect English. The food was very simply but very good. An authentic... More

Happened upon this by chance as it was our first afternoon in Valencia after an early start. When we entered we could see it was full of locals, good sign. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table so had a few beers. The interior was really great, very authentic. We were shown to a table on the... More

We went to this restaurant as it was round the corner from where we were staying and had seen it had good reviews here. We were not disappointed! We had the tapas menu for two - €35 each - which was more than enough food and all delicious. They didn't have the wine we'd chosen but brought a substitute that... More

I heard great things about this place before coming, and thankfully was not disappointed. I came with a friend for lunch. The fixed lunch menú was €16.50 and that included three starters, which were alright, and one of three possible main dishes. We both had the oven-cooked lamb. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was good and very... More

Just a 5-7 minute walk from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, this semi-out-of-the-way restaurant is well worth finding. Upon entering, one is greeted by an authentic and quaint atmosphere well suited for an upscale night out at very reasonable prices. The menu, available in Spanish and English, offers a wide variety of traditional Spanish cuisine featuring seafood and game options. The... More

This restaurant was nearby the Placa de Ayuntamiento where we were staying. The restaurant was quite quiet on the night that we went there (a week night), but the food and service were excellent. It was the last night in Spain for one of us so we wanted to do a special dinner, and we needed to do it early... More

If you go to Valencia, visit this gem of a restaurant near the central market. The owners German and Mari Ramos have created a warm and inviting establishment, with great food at reasonable prices. Nice area for tapas in the front and table dining in the back. German has also featured different local artists over the years. They also own... More
