Visited during the summer of 2014. The restaurant is a bit hidden away, but definitely worth searching for. The decor is great and the restaurant has a really genuine, authentic Spanish vibe - full of local people and dishes. Service was very good from a waiter who spoke perfect English. The food was very simply but very good. An authentic... More

Happened upon this by chance as it was our first afternoon in Valencia after an early start. When we entered we could see it was full of locals, good sign. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table so had a few beers. The interior was really great, very authentic. We were shown to a table on the... More

We went to this restaurant as it was round the corner from where we were staying and had seen it had good reviews here. We were not disappointed! We had the tapas menu for two - €35 each - which was more than enough food and all delicious. They didn't have the wine we'd chosen but brought a substitute that... More

I heard great things about this place before coming, and thankfully was not disappointed. I came with a friend for lunch. The fixed lunch menú was €16.50 and that included three starters, which were alright, and one of three possible main dishes. We both had the oven-cooked lamb. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was good and very... More

Just a 5-7 minute walk from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, this semi-out-of-the-way restaurant is well worth finding. Upon entering, one is greeted by an authentic and quaint atmosphere well suited for an upscale night out at very reasonable prices. The menu, available in Spanish and English, offers a wide variety of traditional Spanish cuisine featuring seafood and game options. The... More

This restaurant was nearby the Placa de Ayuntamiento where we were staying. The restaurant was quite quiet on the night that we went there (a week night), but the food and service were excellent. It was the last night in Spain for one of us so we wanted to do a special dinner, and we needed to do it early... More

If you go to Valencia, visit this gem of a restaurant near the central market. The owners German and Mari Ramos have created a warm and inviting establishment, with great food at reasonable prices. Nice area for tapas in the front and table dining in the back. German has also featured different local artists over the years. They also own... More

I did not particulary enjoied this restaurant. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and good entrees but meat wasn't neither special nor cheap and, to me, it is situated in a not very "nice" part of the city.

Visited this lovely restaurant for lunch and dinner; both involved delicious food (don't miss the calamari), great wine (some fabulous bobal) & very friendly service. The waiters couldn't have been more helpful & bringing a uncharged for beer because the chosen red wine wasn't quite at room temperature was a very nice unexpected touch. A real gem of a place.

The owners German and Marirosa have run this gem of a restaurant near the old central market for almost 20 years. At La Masia del Vino you will find great quality, abundant servings, fantastic tapas and their own wine in the same locale. The decor is the best- with artisanal Art Deco styled tiles and monthly expositions of local artists.... More
