On 2 of my trips to Valencia I have ended up here having a meal. Once to try the famous Spanish paella and once just to have a lunch with my local friends. Both times food was very good. My local friends also acknowledge that. The choice on the set menu is pretty good. However, while they have menus in... More

We ate here last night after our adult son joined us in Valencia. I ordered 3 tapas and my wife and son a main each; lamb chops and a paella respectively. One tapas dish was presented - grilled asparagus as an entree and the second with the others mains and the third tapas plate when they were 1/2 way through... More

We wanted authentic paella and we got authentic paella! We were seated outside (our preference) by a wonderful waiter who proceeded to look after us for the next 2 hrs for a wonderfully lazy post-beach lunch. While we only had the seafood paella, all the other dishes on other tables, looked amazing. Turn on your data, open Google maps and... More

This was our first taste of Paella in Spain and we weren't disappointed. Decided to try this place after reading the reviews in TripAdvisor. Didn't have any problems finding the place, just one wrong turn. Located in a little lane near the Cathedral. While we ate an authentic Spanish guitarist played for us and I am ashamed and disappointed to... More

Well that would be true of the food but as it happens it applies the premises too. True it is very pleasant outside on the lazy pavement but the crude charm of the spot comes to the forefront on the inside rooms. Its not posh or smart but the rural rustic style food is authentic, tasty and filling and makes a... More

My husband took a trip to Barcelona with plans to drive all the way to Seville but I got sicked when we got there. Nonetheless, because I wanted to have paella from its origin, we drove to Valencia one afternoon. I compared many restaurants that serve paella in Valencia and I found Bodego de la Sarieta to have the best... More

In accordance with previous reviews, this restaurant in the vicinity of Valencia cathedral is a true gem! They offer typically Valencian food at a great price. Their tapas come in as rather large plates, so be careful when ordering. Their menues and possibilities of combining tapas are rather complicated, but our waiter was extremely patient and helpful to shed light... More

We heard about the Bodega de la Sarieta via tripadvsor. Quaint restaurant with a friendly staff. Our waiter spoke English well and made the experience very enjoyable. We enjoyed the taste of Spain which was very reasonably priced at 21 euros per person. The meal came with 9 or 10 tapas, and choice of rice. We had the Paella Valencia... More

After the first night we went at Bodego de la Sarieta for a second time because of l the deliciousness of all the dishes and the friendliness and courtesy of the staff. We ate a good Paella Valenciana (they say is a tradition of the restaurant from 33 years) and an extraordinary cod prepared in a sauce of "cooked garlic"... More
