Food and service okay, not too expensive

Was there last night with friends after watching a film on the cinema. Los Toneles is a traditional bar, the Spanish way, and is mainly a basic restaurant with a good range of baguettes and tapas. Tourist oriented. Menu del dia far avay from Spanish standards. Average food. Looks like will be extremely good for drinking in the evening. Look at thr thickness of the ternera...dry and rubber like.

I was recommended this place by a guy from the Apple shop. I went to the bathroom first and wasn't impressed by the condition of the place inside or by the tapas I saw on display, which all looked rather deep fried and greasy. When eventually I attracted the waiter's attention, I asked him if any of the fish was... More

Excellent value and service, three course meals for €10 all good or try the tapas dishes as many of the locals do. Situated close to the railways station and the Plaza del Torres

In search for some good tapas we were referred to this restaurant. We checked it out with help of the Tripadvisor app and sat down anticipating a good diner. As said in the title, the whole thing was a complete disappointment. The food was soaking fat, did not taste good nor did it look good. We wonder what can go... More

The food was really good but still very cheap. The thing that attracted me to this restaurant is that there were a lot of locals there which is always a good sign.

We were drawn to this by the noise and because people were queuing for a table in the rain! Other places nearby were empty. So you get a ticket form the bar and wait. Then there is a great choice of tapa or the usual paella and off you go. It's busy, noisy and crowded almost all the time. Goodprice.

Busy noisy with plenty on offer. Good for as quick snack and drink. Rations are generous. A little bit on the pricy side. I would go again.

Situated on a busy stretch of pedestrianised street close to the bullring and the Estacio del Nord, this restaurant offers all the usual tapas at modest prices in a pleasant outdoor setting , only marred by the constant attention of the street sellers in this area. The food was at best unremarkable and one or two of the dishes were... More

We take two menus for 10€ and both were good (Paella is homemade and very good). We asked for 'Patatas Bravas' too and it was tasty although a little bit expensive in comparison with menu price. Service was ok. Good location of the restaurant.
