Local with a flair.

We just had a wonderful lunch at Civera. We enjoyed tuna tartar as a starter and then sea bass "cooked" in salt. Our waiter presented in heated with flames and then extinguished the flames and broke the salt casing. He then filleted the whole fish and served us two separate portions. It was... read more

Thid establishment is too fine to bother about an clients sitting outside. Ir is clearly choosing whom and what to serve. Mark my words, never step inside unless yup what to waste time, money and taste buds!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel when we asked where we could find great Valencian Paella. The restaurant was lovely, with a traditional feel, the tables large and comfortably spaced (usually Spain has small close tables, although this is comparing to much cheaper restaurants). The wait staff were attentive but not intrusive, our waiter spoke a little English, we... More

This restaurant was suggested by a local and it was 90% local. We could tell that many were regulars. Upscale, with excellent service. The food, mainly seafood was superb. Situated near the town hall with lots of action around.

The restaurant is Nice But You must be careful: They offer seafood up to 150 euro each. The paella And fideua were good But we had To wait almost One hour to eat And half An hour to have The table cleaned. Moreover, we had to pay for some bread with olive oil And tomatoes that we did not ordered.

This is a top notch seafood restaurant. The fresh fish and seafood paella were excellent but so were the other courses including salad and dessert. Service also friendly. You can eat at the bar and watch preparations.

We went to Civera Marisquerias during our stay in Valencia based purely on the reviews and as we wanted a really good fresh fish restaurant. Unfortunately though we were left less than impressed. The waiting staff were curt and a little stand offish in our opinion, possibly as we weren't ordering one of the €100+ dishes to share. We were... More

A huge variety of excellent fish and seafood. The waiter patiently explained the dishes and recommended the sea bass baked in salt which was to die for. He also nailed it with his suggestion of a white wine from the region, which apparently has won national prizes. They also have several delicious options for desserts.
