The meal was OK, but at the start of the meal we were brought a number of dishes that we did not order- one of these ended up on the bill. The other issue is the way they price the paella. They advertise that it is for a minimum of 2 people and then price the paellas. What they don't... More

All dishes we had were excellent, shell fish and fish, the service also is fantastic. We were seating outside in a small alley. We did not spend a lot.

My husband and I ate Lobster Paella at this restaurant last year during a trip to Valencia and I have been day dreaming of our return ever since. This is now our second trip to Valencia & this restaurant, and Civera Marisquerias did not disappoint! We arrived at the start of service, around 8:30 pm. This is very early for... More

The waiters were very nice and flexible with the minimum for two condition on the order. The food was good and the price reasonable.

On our first day in Valencia we wanted to eat some seafood. We asked the hotel for a nice local restaurant and that's how we got here. As we didn't make a reservation we weren't able to sit outside. At first we were the only one sitting inside but after 15 minutes or something every table was being taken and... More

Fish and seafood are very good here. Ambience is also perfect outside on a warm summer night. Booking essential. Dinner service starts at 8.30pm.

Since we were in Valencia old center, we decided to dinner in Civera Marisquerias after reading good reviews in TA. But, hands down, what a deception: although the waiter was attentive and not intrusive, the paella with sea fruit was not good (untasteful and with just 5 or 6 shrimps and 2 little lobsters). We read that, in fact, Valencia,... More

We stayed at the Vincci Lys in the next road and having read TA review about this restaurant we took the plunge. We are not fish fanatics which would obviously helps when staying in Valencia but we both enjoy white fish dishes. Lots of staff in this restaurant all keeping themselves busy. We sat outside in this narrow street. There... More

A charming little restaurant, we went to on the advice of our taxi driver! Fabulous place, lovely waiters with really nice friendly attitude really tried to speak as much English and help us out. We shared three starters, Fried Calamari and garlic prawns both were fantastic as well as steamed mussles which were nice but nothing special (the sauce needed... More

We were eager to have paella in its birthplace. Civera did not disappoint! The seafood paella was chick full of seafood and served piping hot! Nice complimentary profiteroles and sweet wine! Waiter wasn't too personable, though. He also told us that he could only charge us in US dollars, rather than Euros.
