Very tasty fideua marisco

This was one of the better meals I had in Valencia and I would def recommend and go back myself. I had the fideua marisco which was very very good and tasty. The best thing about my visit was the half bottle of verdecho that was recommended to me by the waiter. I had the seafood paella as this was the only one they would serve for one person, it was quite salty and I had eaten better at more reasonable prices elsewhere. My husband had the prawns which were lovely. They... More

This restaurant serves great fish and meat in plush surroundings. The staff speak good English and helped with our choices. It was just around the corner from our Hotel - Vincci Lys which was handy as the weather was awful.

The staff at the hotel recommended this restaurant and we are glad we followed their advice. We had a lovely table for two near the entrance and we enjoyed watching all the elegant Valencian patrons as they arrived for dinner. Enormous selection of fresh seafood and of course the rice dishes this region is so well know for. Angel, our... More

This restaurant came recommended by a taxi-driver as being an authentic, classic Valencian restaurant and he was right. Excellent atmosphere, very buzzing with good service and food to match. We did not have starters, my wife had monk fish and I had the solomillo (steak), both very good. I had an excellent dessert and we finished a bottle of Rosada... More

Wanted to eat in a good seafood restaurant, we received a table in the front dining room which had been recommended, did feel as though the service offered to local regular diners wasn't afforded to us which was noticeable, a shame as we ordered food and drink yo the value of 200euros Will find another restaurant on our next trip

If you are looking at a typical Spanish restaurant in Valencia, Rivera is one you have to try. Typical Spanish style, good service and a bit "up-scale". The menu contains both meat and seafood. We had the seafood paella. Nice decorated and tasteful dish served from the frying pan at your table. Good selection of wine and very hospital service.... More

When in Valencia, you must eat paella. At the recommendation of our hotel we went for arroz a la marinera at Civera. This is a busy place full of life. Great for tourists but not touristy. The rice was very good. The staff was attentive and professional. Generous wine list at reasonable prices. They will charge for things they bring... More

The starter was shrimps, ok and fresh, but served without any inspiration by kitchen and staff. The tuna again fresh, but too salty and with a no sauce, not well presented again. Same for the fish of my partner. We asked for some recommendations since there's nothing like a composite menu or a menu de dégustation, however there was no... More
