Amazing paella, for me the best in Valencia by far! Kindly staff, good octopus. The restaurant is haunted by Valencian people, so you know that you're in the right place!

We started outlr dinnet with jamon platter and a bottle of wine then ordered 2paellas paella valeciana and senoret (sea food) both of them were freshly cooked and delicious. Some of the waiters know good english and can recommend good dishes and wine. Our wine was also perfect by recommendation we ordered one more. Be sure to make reservations because... More

We are traveling throughout southern Spain and did not want to have any Paella till we reach the city where paella was born....and believe me....really worthwhile. Its a relatively small tavern, but it gets busy and full very fast. We had to wait half an hr for the Valencia Paella which is cooked when you order it....absolutely delicious...Make sure you... One of the best and biggest meals we have ever eaten! We chose the special menu (canela en rama) which cost around €21 per person and it was amazing. First off they brought us some wonderful homemade bread and a little seafood croquet while we were waiting. Then a huge plate of ham, followed by some roasted red peppers stuffed... More

We read about “Canela” from other TP members, so we decided to try it and we can say that it’s really worthwhile! Food quality, service and kindness are at the top! We suggest to try, at least once, one of the superlative “paellas” cooked at the moment (you have to wait about 30/35 minutes..) We went there twice during our... More

Me and my partner traveled to Valencia in January of 2013 as a weekend break away from the kids and work, and as a huge fan of Paella I had wanted to go to "the source" for many years and wasn't left disappointed! As we were only in town for 3 days we used tripadvisor to reccy a few restaurants... More

We went there last Saturday without reservation without any luck..we made directly a reservation for Tuesday as it is closed every Monday. It was worth waiting! We ordered 3 menu courses. The starters were set of various food, from salade wrap in the smoked slamon, typical valencian croket, serano ham and spanish pepper filled with fish and mash potato. The... More

Paella belongs to Valencia cuisine and i guess this place is one of the best because it has a cosy atmosphere where you can spend a quality time with your friends or partner or family. Second, the service is good and the food is good quality. Paella with seafood was delicious. The taste was unique. We paid a reasonable price... More

Canela has to be THE place to eat paella in Valencia. Every time we've been there we've had an outstanding meal with great service. Try the cod and cauliflower paella. The first time we ever went there our server told us it was what he grew up on and it was delicious. The last time we went we didn't have... More
