We did not really know where to have dinner, so we were just walking a bit around, and finally decided to stop here since it was the place that looked cosiest with the plants in the door and the nice style. The food showed to be amazing. We were a bit tired of all the heavy and deep fried tapas... More

Well located restaurant in the Carmen district. Excellent Tapas but perhaps a little pricey for what it was. Staff were friendly although limited English.

We ate lunch at this little corner restaurant and we were so pleasantly surprised with the creative and delicious menu, friendly service and value pricing. The menu of the day consisted of three starters; all fresh, interesting and flavourful. From several choices of main dishes we chose the Paella Valencia. A great choice!

We struggled to agree on a place to eat, although there were plenty of options in the surrounding area. Most of them were selling the same food from the same menus, but La Pitanza was different - they were offering 3 or 5 course meals at fairly reasonable prices for such lavish interior, although it was more than I wanted... Everything combined to make our evening a wonderful experience. Great menu choices, beautiful atmosphere, friendly helpful service and, we particularly enjoyed our server, the grandson of the developer of the recipes, who explained the menu beautifully in mostly English. Food equalled some of the best gourmet restaurants we have tried. In the Carmen district, on a corner.

Valencia is great with food in general. But this restaurant is exceptional for 3 reasons. For general reader, I will not comment on the food, because it is awesome, and beyond value for money. The Chef could be a Michelin star gem. And my wife and I ate in so many Michelin star restaurants paying multiples of the value we... More

Great Little family run restaurant in the heart of the old city. The lunch menú at 19 euros was great value, and tried the other rice of Valencia the Arroz Meloso, wet rice and it was superb! The only thing that bothered us was the steep stairs going up to the restaurant and the constant ¨beeping¨ a motion sensor at... More

During a long weekend escapade in Valencia for my birthday, we found this location just by chance, we was inspired by the decoration, light and the cosy athmosphere although small, that just seduced us inviting us to get in there. We wasn't disappointed but even surprised by the warm welcome, attention and professionalism. As we were satisfied by all in... More

Our host Ivana highly recommended this place. We were greeted by the very charming and handsome Angel De Haro who took us upstairs to what turned out to be a lovely dining area. We had 3 starters, 1 Main course and dessert. The Corn Foie soup was one of the top 3 best dishes I had in Spain! I'm still... More
