A very good surprise!

Found this restaurant by chance and this turned out to be a good surprise! From starter to dessert, everything was good! Nice service as well.

Do NOT go there! Dinner was a total fiasco... They advertised a Valencia Paella for two ...16 euros each, approx $48 canadian ..high we thought, but when it came it had little amounts of chicken...tiny pieces on the bone....no shell fish, but lots of beans...green and white and lots of burnt rice!! Add the terrible service and the sudden inability to speak English... More

A perfect little restaurant with very good service. We can definitely recommend it! The upstairs area is lovely if it is too cold outside.

We decided to try El Carmen so walks around and saw a lot of places which were over priced based on quality of other diners meals. We stumbled upon this place and had a fantastic meal! Fresh tapas, perfect gazpacho, croquettes to die for and fantastic sangria! This beats our meal hands down we had the night prior at Navarro!!

Lovely restaurant and food in the centre of Valencia and different from the rest of the restaurant nearby! The waiter was really helpful and attentive!

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Valencia. Very good food and a friendly staff. Definatelly a thumbs up, especially if you want to try something else than tapas or paella.

We did not really know where to have dinner, so we were just walking a bit around, and finally decided to stop here since it was the place that looked cosiest with the plants in the door and the nice style. The food showed to be amazing. We were a bit tired of all the heavy and deep fried tapas... More

Well located restaurant in the Carmen district. Excellent Tapas but perhaps a little pricey for what it was. Staff were friendly although limited English.

We ate lunch at this little corner restaurant and we were so pleasantly surprised with the creative and delicious menu, friendly service and value pricing. The menu of the day consisted of three starters; all fresh, interesting and flavourful. From several choices of main dishes we chose the Paella Valencia. A great choice!

We struggled to agree on a place to eat, although there were plenty of options in the surrounding area. Most of them were selling the same food from the same menus, but La Pitanza was different - they were offering 3 or 5 course meals at fairly reasonable prices for such lavish interior, although it was more than I wanted...
